r.mac could you just use any old harness? I've got THIS one it has adapters to use in prams, etc where there are rings to attach to (I don't remember paying that tho:undecided)

Oh and, get you lot and your dining tables - we've taken our high chair to my parents - we never eat at the table here, as that requires moving furniture (table has to be pulled out in the midle of the lr in front of the tv to sit at it, so it can't stay there! Izzy eats in her not-a-bumbo with the tray attached (on a massive plastic mat... although I'm starting to think it might not be massive enough!) and I sit on the floor in front of her. If she is in the high chair I'm too low on the sofa and too high standing up. At my parents we always eat at the table, so it makes sense to leave it there.

Him to look after the baby for a day while you go on a pamper session?
A voucher for one of these
Mind you, neither of those are things you can open.
Um... £100 worth of chocolate? ;)
    An epilator/straighteners/some fancy perfume?
    A watch?
    A box set or two?
Some ridiculous boots like the ones I linked too earlier? :rotfl:
You could even send him off to spend £100 at Ann Summers, but not if you're opening your presents at the in-laws .

i looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove boots i love furry boots i would be over the moon if he bought me a room filled with different kind of boots :D ... he likes the ann summers idea but i think that would be his present not mine ;) x

I just bought some oilcloth from here:
    http://stores.shop.ebay.co.uk/tablecloth-co__W0QQ_armrsZ1

Prices are reasonable, and it arrived quickly. They had some Cath Kidston look-a-likey fabric that I liked, but I went for a bonny colour checky one instead.

Bought an oilcloth for the dining table. Charlotte doesn't use a highchair now and just kneels on a dining chair, but I was fed up with keep washing and ironing cotton tablecloths. Much easier just to wipe the oilcloth over :o
Here I go again on my own....

  • Eep, what did I do? Is this related to my new found agricultural hoby?

Not in the slightest bit agricultural. 'Twas your offer to have AM to stay that reminded me that there are some really lovely people in this world and you lady are most definitely one of them :A

I thought he was spending £100 on you, not £5000 ;) Start a list now, and whenever you spot something you like in a shop/advert or think "oh I could really do with a ..." jot it down. By the time he goes christmas shopping he will have a nice long list to choose from and it will still be a surprise which thing he gets you.

Aw, I do my best ;)

I'm going to loose my Ikea virginity tomorrow morning - off to go pick up a few bits for the kitchen and look at the units we are considering as part of our "baby proofing the livingroom" plan. Which we can't do till the kitchen is finished so we can put the kitchen back in the kitchen.... by which point baby will be 17 at this rate :rotfl:. Anything else I simply MUST look at while we are there?
