You're a mum! I cry at alsorts now and I used to be the ice queen! My mum tells me about kids at school that she's proud of/worried about etc and I end up in tears - I don't even know the child and I cry because they've learnt to spell or something!

I blub when my teacher cousin shows me her xmas cards written by 5 year olds and her end of year thank you notes! :o

    xx
  • MFD - Stop it lady or you will start me off! ;).

And I will try and stop speed reading from now on :o. Did you want it to be positive?

    xx

A tiny bit inside me thought it might take the decision out of our hands.

Not sure if I could persuade hubby to have another - he would be 45 by the time another came along and it kind of makes you start thinking that he wouldn't be able to retire until maybe after 65 (if child went to Uni). I'm not sure I want to even have the conversation with him at the moment :o (which is why I am whispering!!)

Does anyone use one of those things with the rolled up edges to stop them rolling or do you think I should just leave her to it and not worry.

I had DS in this until 7 months:

He hated the pillow, so I took that off.
    The IVF worked;DS born 2006.

ooh thanks, that reminded me I've got some foam cleaner/freshener stuff at the back of the cupboard :)

My [STRIKE]idiot[/STRIKE] husband couldn't see the nappies because I'd put them 12 inches to the left of where they usually go, so he thought he'd leave toddler sans nappy while he strolled down here to ask me where they were:rolleyes:

  • Elle - did you say that you were having a party for Rhys on Sunday?
That was his due date wasn't it? Seems a bit poetic :D

Mel - we have been less than careful but haven't thrown all caution to the wind IYSWIM ;)

Not relying on breastfeeding at all but haven't started the pill yet and condoms just seem to be beyond us at the moment :p
