oh Elle - do you remember little pickle from the preg group?
I only realised yesterday that her bubba was a similar amount early as Rhys, Luke was due 10th July, arrived 30th May he came home last week.
If you want to know who she is I can PM you her real name so you could contact her through my friends list if you like0 -
We're off to new parent class again in a bit but just having a pizza first lol (actually cheaper than a sandwich! Insane!) I'm going to have to speak to the HVs though as I'm struggling with BFing
she's latching fine but she had a day of upset tummy the other day and basically cleared me out and meant I had to defrost the 10lf oz back up I had in the freezer!
She then ate constantly yesterday - we're talking HUGE feeds! HUGE!!!!! And today despite that my milk production isn't up to speed yet so I've been expressing to try and get it up - but my left boob is producing pink milk which I am not feeding her for obvious reasons *sigh* so I might have to contemplate mixed feeding and see if I can get my milk supply back up againI really don't want to mix feed though but I am going to have to as long as I am down to one boob (well that she can eat from at any rate... )

Tine, pink milk is fine, it can actually be any colour of the spectrum and it is still fine! (I had greeny/blue for a while)
Hun, the best way to build up your milk production is to keep putting her to the breast, if you start giving her formula then you are missing the chance to breastfeed her and your body won't get the signal to increase milk supply... Don't take the amount you are expressing as a sign to how much milk she is having. She is far more adept at milking you than your medela.... Really, the best thing you can do is just take yourselves off to bed, ignore everything else and feed her as much as she wants...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I'm so excited about my free potty but they said it will arrive in 2-3 weeks I want it NOW!
I got an email monday to tell me they'd send the food diary out within 2-3 weeks - but it had already arrived on the Saturday!
Good luck with potty training - i went to see a friend today who's got DD 10 wks older than Violet, and a little boy who's almost 3.
He was on day three of using the potty and was so proud of his spiderman undies and so funny saying 'mummy, i need a weeeee' every ten minutes. :rotfl:
(Although she was a bit worried as when they went to buy his big boy undies at the weekend, he was insisting he wanted pink knickers instead!):beer:0 -

My milk could be green and I wouldn't know about it cos I don't put it in a bottle...should think it would be fine unless you know different??
She may just be upping your supply herself...she will be much more effective at it than any pump ever could be
