okay - I remember what I wanted to ask. Formula milk and follow on milk. Basically why would I change to follow on milk? when would I change? can I just carry on with normal stage one milk?

thanks in advance and hurray up and come back LuT :D

Oh and I've just sold my birth pool on ebay :D

follow on milk is a marketing ploy to entice you to spend more money on formula for longer that you need to.
You can stay on normal formula for the appropriate age group and then when bubs turns 1 give them full fat cows milk :D
    Hope this is OK ;)

Hi r.mac, the MW I had with Poppy told me there was no need to change from stage 1 until aged one so we didn't and I will keep Jamie on it until he is one too.

We then changed to C&G 1 Year+ for her morning and night drink right up until she was 20m and we stopped her bottles. She obviously could have had cows milk instead though :).

Companies can issue MOC's for follow on milk and Tesco/Boots give points which they can't do for stage 1.

    don't you just love ammericans!

You've brought up one of my MANY pet peeves... Follow on formula, in particular the advert for cow n gate one with the giant cup of milk  it should be banned (the ad) I also hate that the 1yr plus ones are flavoured with vanilla but they hide it in the ingredients and don't say on the pack
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.
