Well done Aimee:)
I am very pleased with my big boys too, we got the end of year school reports today, they were both excellent.
Jaden managed to achieve 'working at average for age' on some of his subjects, which given that he is Dyslexic and has some speech and language, and some fine motor problems, is amazing. He has worked really hard, and progressed so much this year, I am very proud of him:D
Luca on the other hand is Mr swotty pants and as usual, is working mostly above his age level:D
I am slightly gutted that Jaden is moving teachers next year though, as it helps that his teacher this year is the SENCO for the school (and the area). I just hope his new teacher doesn't make him feel bad about how much he can't do!!!

Roughly how long does it take your babies to drink how much milk?
It's taking half an hour to get Rhys to drink 45ml - which I know is the extremeLots of stopping and starting tho', probably only 10-15mins of actual sucking.
I was just pondering what we could potentially get it down to..
With expressed milk, they should take no more than about 120ml at a time, and you should pace bottle feeds so they take the same as a breastfeed would take. It is possible to overfeed on EBM. Normal daily amount is about 19-30 oz. I think the idea is to make it as close to real breastfeeding as possible.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
well done to your boys mel! i also got good reports at the end of the year for my two and also am worried about the changeover as my 2 are going to be in the same class? as there are so few pupils they have decided to have 4 classes. the way it works out it will be a P4/5 and they will be in together? What's for you won't go past you0

megan and lewis are in school they get homework twice a week and reading once, they also have novels to read at their pace. Lewis shoots through his HW as he is a bit of a smarta**e lol! and Les helps meg as she takes forever. we need to make her sit on her own or lewis tells her all the answers. lewis is currently reading his dads 'the long way down book'.What's for you won't go past you0 -
Caz, I received my Asda order this morning! :j. 10 x 4 packs of Pampers wipes but they substituted the sensitive for normal (even though I asked for no subs, I'm obviously not complaining!).
Only problem is when I log in and check my order it now shows the 'real' price!. Hope they are not going to charge me the excess or they can have them back :rotfl:.

Ooooh poor teacher, they don't usually like siblings in same classes do they? Well done on the good reports too:)
Our school did have mixed 1/2 and 3/4 but htis year they have split the 1/2 again, which is a shame because if they had kept it mixed Jaden would still have had his current, excellent, theacher:( Although I must say I do prefer when classes aren't mixed ages.

That's not too bad then...I think our school is a bit heavy on the homework, they are expected to read every night, which I have to log in their reading record book. They get a piece of literacy and a piece of maths homework every week, sometimes also a piece of science homework too...and they have to learn spellings ready for a test every monday!!!!
I really struggle getting them to complete it all, we also have to seperate Jaden when he is doing his as Luca tells him all the answers plus he really needs the one to one or he can't do it.
They hate having to read every night, I often get into trouble at parents evening because they have missed (quite a few) nights out.....Hahahahahaha edit to say - they missed nights reading, not nights out!!!
