Mooki - those pots might do you to start with but they only hold 2oz each so you will need 2 or 3 of them to make up a feed...

They will be really useful for weaning though :D and they are very pretty!

I thought I might put too much pressure on myself if I got the bags when i'm not expressing huge amounts right now, so I went for this option!!

Why is it that when Leila is asleep all I want to do is wake her up again for a cuddle!! She does this thing where she half opens one eye and looks around to see whether its worth waking up for. If theres no boobie in her eye line she will close the eye and go back to sleep again.

I have spent today ringing childminders (and silently sobbing in between). It is heart wrenching to be looking for a child minder when Leila is only 3 weeks old but I know I have to do it now to ensure I find the right person for when I go back to work in September. I am meeting one on Monday and have a good feeling about her, so fingers crossed.

lucky you krystal! i so need a sleep. she has started to fight me during the day when feeding, she is obviously hungry but screams and pulls away. am wondering if she maybe has thrush again?? i also never gave her any solids yest as she was screaming so much and thought maybe she had a sore stomach? just cant seem to make her happy at all at the mo?

I know I've said it before, I think this sounds like mild reflux.

Oh sweetie. I am putting of ringing around childminders for that exact same reason. My mum was a childminder when I was a kid and she now works for social services working with childminders (vetting them and training them) so I know that this is the option I want to go with and I know what I want in a minder but I am terrified!

I think I am as scared of finding the right person as I am of not finding the right person

If you suspect thrush I recommend eating lots of probiotic stuff, that was what finally saw off the last of the thrush for us!

I've known Celia do that when she's got trapped wind (increased windyness can be a sign of thrush btw) cycling her legs and rubbing her tummy clockwise can help if she needs to trump.

Am I the only one that passes wind myself when trying to wind baby?

    Happens both ends for me!!!
