She did stay in bed though. The previous night I didn't get anything done because she kept getting out and crying and it took from 1900hrs to 2130hrs to get her settled. Eventually I told her she must stay in bed and she did. I hadn't told her not to rip the wallpaper off.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

MFD - i love ur DSS he is just the sweetest lil boy!
I knowI am a very luicky step-mummy!
I keep waiting for him to become a nightmare - he is 9 now - but so far (touch wood) he is still a lovely little boy.
We do have to accept though that there will come a point when coming to see Dad, Step-Mum and annoying little Step-Brother will be the last thing in the world he wants to do...
...unless we make sure that we are cooler than his mumplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
I was given some 2-3 yr vests, but the rest i bought in asda and peacocks. But more recently a friend gave me some from marks and spencer. Molly is out of poppered vests now due to her height and she and Jack are currently sharing our 2-3yr vest collection. She has the plain white ones and he has the patterned or boy looking ones. Mind you recently neither have worn them. I refuse to buy her 2-3 poppered vests, she hates being restricted anyway.
I have some lovely pics of them from the last few days, must post a few.
Just to add to the height/weight discussion, at 2 weeks Jack was 49cm and Molly was 51cm, so shorties, but now Molly is in 18-24 clothes and has been for a couple of months, she's just turned 15 months. Jack is Mr Average around his friends and now weighs 2st dead, but neither feet have grown for 6 months, so my two are quite ramdom!!
ETA, can't quite believe that in another week, Molly will be the same age Jack was when she was born!!!0 -
Elijah was 8.6lbs (75th percentile) and 56cm (91st percentile) at birth. At week 40 he was 17.2 lbs (finally double his birth-weight! around 5th percentile) and 71.5cm (45th percentile).
I'm 6'4", OH is 5'7", so we weren't surprised by a fairly big baby at the start, but between natural change and the infant reflux he's a lot lighter now - he gained no weight at all for around 2 months at one stage. On the other hand every baby is great ;p we like the lean, athletic, un-chubby look it gives him
Although he is not in my good books this morning... for no clear reason he demanded a feed at 2am, then got restless at 4am and has been up since 50 -
awwww bruno, sorry to hear about the 2 am feed! ouch!
does anyone know how often boots have a mega points weekend and when the next one's due?
TIA

Ugh Keely
never ideal!
Thought it might be Elijah being teethy, gave him ibuprofen at ...4.45 maybe... didn't seem to make any difference though, he's been grumpy throughout. Loving these high-intensity non-stop work days on 4 hours sleep though, what doesn't kill me makes me stronger0 -

41 weeks, 9.5+ months. He used to be a terrible, terrible sleeper partly due to reflux, he's a bit better nowadays but not perfect!
His favourite trick in the mornings is crawling deep into the workings of my chair and desk so that I'm afraid to move at all.0 -

Aaww Elliot's still got a bit of his reflux, we have some bad days still. I think when you've been through hell with sleepless nights-even getting up a couple of times is fanstastic!
I'm hoping i'll look back and laugh at my moaning
You get past one thing, then something else crops up ie teething or they get a cold etc.
Looks like another lovely day, best slap on the suncream as i got caught out yesterday and i'm a bit red now oops!Mommy to Elliot (5) and Lewis (born xmas eve 11!)0
