Hi MM and all the others i know from the pregnancy thread.

I thought I would pop on here to see whats happening and was surprised to see so many people from the pregnancy thread, I feel like I've graduated

Dh has been on paternity leave for 1 week now, which means only 1 week left. Im not sure how anyone deals with a newborn and a toddler. On the odd occasions DH goes to the shop and leaves me with Darach who is 1 & 1/2 and Cliodhna 1 week today, im terrified he's going to throw something, or take a swipe for the baby. Im not sure how on earth im going to manage this full time come next week. + I cant move very quickly yet after the CS.

I have visions of me putting them both in the pram and just walking all day till DH comes home

quick question, has anyone got a linky saved that gives how many oz of formula are needed by weight of baby not age like is on the packet?

    tia

    weezl x

A good guide is to think 2.5-2.7oz of formula per lb of baby :D

I only have 7 rooms if you count the 'solarium' (NOT as glamourous as it sounds!)We have just the one set up upstairs, I hardly ever change them downstairs

We got married in the registry office
had the reception at my M&F IL's
decorated our own car which my Dad drove me in
    made my own favours
    no honeymoon
MIL got a buffet from M&S (which I got discounted because a friend works there) plus MIL made a big Chili and Rice
We bought a Gazebo and borrowed another from family
Only had 25 people (including OH and I and children)
A friend did the photos - she's done courses in photography

    The run down was roughly
    Give notice - £43.50
    Ceremony - £60
My outfit inc shoes & accs- £150 (dress was £30ish from bhs thanks to code I found on here plus an admin error where they refunded me the other stuff in full :shhh:)
My hair, make up and tan - £50
OH suit - £115 (suit n shoes Tesco, shirt n waistcoat etc wedding suppliers)
    Chris's suit & shoes - £50 (suit bhs, shoes converse, shirt n tie H&M)
    Flowers - £70
    Favours - £80
    Food - £150
    Cake - £50
drinks, gazebo, mini bus for guests etc - £200
That all came to about £990 ;) I probably could have got it cheaper but being a complete nutter I planned the whole thing in less than 6weeks because I HAD to get married on my Gt Gma's birthday:D

It wasn't a rock n roll party affair (we were in bed for 11pm :p) but it was a great day and I enjoyed it loads!
have a peek at my pic on FB if you like :)http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=43584&id=541141775&l=71bc2bd097

Wow - that's impressive. I'm not going to tell you how much ours was:o

Tine - your little Roo is soo cute in those photos. Please tell me how to do that (link to just one picture) on facebook.

Sami - your DH is gorgeous! No wonder you're pleased Chris looks like him (not that it's a problem that Ed looks like you!)

Looks like you had a wonderful day. We had 50 people in the day, a further 50 at night, a civil ceremony at a local manor house plus meal and then reception. We called in every favour we could (florist in the family, Dad's mate a photographer, friend who makes cakes, Dad's friend a printer so did stationery) and it still cost £6k. And that was 5 years ago! We set out to do it the MSE way - have exactly what we wanted, but for the cheapest price possible. As opposed to just doing it as cheaply as possible.

Oh, and that doesn't include the honeymoons! Scary to think how much it can cost, but £77k is ridiculous. I bet people spending less don't have any worse a day either.

Welcome Mrs Moc! Lovely to see you here!

No tips on toddler/baby juggling, but lots of long walks sounds like a good plan.

Great kiddy names by the way!

I'm still taking pregnancy and breastfeeding vitamins, so should be alright on that front. I'm probably just being overly worried, the chance is low, but its just that intense sick feeling I've only felt once before. No idea when to test, I didn't show positive till 12 weeks last time, don't trust negative tests now!

Feelie - will keep everything crossed for the outcome you want - whatever that is. Have you been having AF? If so, when was your last one?

Welcome Mrs Moc! Lovely names. Are they Irish?

Not sure why we've been scary the pg club? We're all very lovely IMHO!
