Night all!
MFD xxxoops! I should've done more research before the car boooty SB! Erm, what's better with a 5 point harness, is it better for safety when they can climb out?:D
Was he awake when he was standing there? I wonder if he's going to be a sleepwalker. James is and it goes through phases but he's never done anything serious. One night I was going to bed and he was standing leaning over the railing on the landing but he was still asleep. I did ask what he was doing and he said he was fishing, so I said all the fish had gone to bed and perhaps he should too, and off he went. He had no recollection of that happening the next day. Othertimes he's just got up and wandered about for a bit and then gone back to bed.feelinggood wrote: »Talking of sleeping, OH was telling his friend that DS sleeps through the night. Lu - I'll join you in being mad with OH! Mine has been working 'darn sarf' since Tuesday but phoned this morning to say the lads from work are going out on the pish tonight so he might stay at his mum's - oh yeah lovely you spend 3 nights in a nice hotel then go out, get drunk and have your brekkie made by mummy while I get 5hrs sleep a night looking after 2 children!0

hi girls. im not a regular on here, but would come and lurk now and again.
just need to vent a bit right now about how strange my DD is!! lol.
she is a genuinely great eater - but does not like saucey-based stuff and recently i have been struggling as to hwat to give her for lunch. she is 19 months. she will not eat sandwiches or toasties for me, even though she loves toast.
Today i gave her a cracker, as she would not touch mine with some butter on it - because she could see it. Then i got sneaky and put some butter on and another cracker on top. ate it no problem. even, much to my distaste, started licking the butter off the cracker. So then i got even more sneaky - i sliced some cheese really fine and put that in between the crackers and she ate that no problem, except for when she broke the cracker and a piece of cheese feell out onto the floor. she handed it to me and said "yuk". i put her ccracker sandwich back together and she continued to eat it without a problem. can anyone make any sense of this? or have a DD or DS that is a bit of a weirdo like mine!?? lol
Also - what else do you feed your little ones for lunch? I dont want to make her sick of pasta, sausages, noodles, toast etcCarla-Farla!!

I've got an ICICI savings account and when I tried to move some money they said because I hadn't put any money in or out within the last few months they delete your bank details (to transfer to/from) for data protection. Just send them an email from your account and they will re-instate it.
Thanks for that - I managed to wipe my password(baby brain) and don't even know my account number...just the number that you use to log-in. I have been trying to get a new password issued for months and months but they managed to wipe my address from their system and all kinds of shennaigens
Lol :rotfl:Sounds like my OH. Someone in work asked him how he was coping with the sleepless nights (when Violet was about a month old!) - he said he's absolutely fine, she sleeps really well.
But now, she's slept for three nights running, from 7pm ish until between 6 and 6.30. :j
Yay Violet!!
Benjamin is still waking between 4 and 4.30am but he hardly wants to feed and goes back down pretty quickly - I think the birds are waking him :rolleyes:have thought about giving erin baby rice this W/E as she has started to watch us eat and moves her mouth like she is chewing lol! she had a little suck on a piece of cold apple yesterday and was very impressed with it!
You've got a busy day planned Caz!! I bought baby rice the other day (although still not sure that I will use it if I decide to go completely BLW) and I couldn't believe the amount of additives in some of them
Managed to buy one which only has 1 additive in the end (think it was thiamin??)
We have been giving Benjamin a whole carrot (peeled and out of the fridge) to suck on / play with whilst we eat - he seems to enjoy being part of the action!!
Sami - I do write on them first...but you can't write on them in biro (not the tesco ones anyway)please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Just some info on Pumping and Dumping (which I hadn't heard until Krystal mentioned it last week)
Do I have to pump and dump after drinking an alcoholic beverage?
As alcohol leaves the bloodstream, it leaves the breastmilk. Since alcohol is not "trapped" in breastmilk (it returns to the bloodstream as mother's blood alcohol level declines), pumping and dumping will not remove it. Pumping and dumping, drinking a lot of water, resting, or drinking coffee will not speed up the rate of the elimination of alcohol from your body.
So if I do pump whilst I am away for the night I will need to dump it but if I don't I will be fine to feed in the morning (or when the alcohol has left my system)
...might not fit my boobs in the car though :rotfl:please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

have you ever put a bit of cheese maybe some ham or tomato too in a torlilia and dry fry it so it melts?(they're called quesadilla) chris loves them even tho he's fussy about normal toasties

Carla, Celia's not really big enough to be crazy in that respect but she dairy/tomato intolerant so I've got to be inventive with food!
Cous cous (make it with stock so it tastes nicer then you can add veg)
Crumpets (crumpet pizzas are nice and she could help you make them which might encourage her to eat them!)
Jacket potato
Houmous (smeared on anything that'll stay still long enough!)
Quinoa (you can make it with a stock cube and veg, it's very good for you!)Comping, freebieing and trying to pay the mortgage off early!0 -
MFD I bought baby rice even tho I'm going to try BLW, this is after talking to MIL, who tells me that DH was such a lazy eater that the only way she could introduce solids at 10 months was to but baby rice in the bottle with the milk and stick a pin in the teat to make it suckable!
So if fergie takes afetr his dad I'll just have to shove it all in the bottle! Carrot smoothie darling?
