Ladybird - I like the stitched labels you can get because when she outgrows something you can un pick it and re-use:money:
(I stole that idea from my mum ;) she only ever had to buy one batch of labels when we were about 5yo and was still using them when I left high school)

One tip for if you have more than one child I remember from when Iw as little is to just use initials then have the label say (for example) C Bee E, so that Sammi could cut off the E at the end for Chris' clothes and cut off the C at the beginning for Edgars. no use to me now though, unless I want to pick what letter a future child's name is going to start with, then stick to it ;)

I got Aimee's name labels from eBay, the embroidered type... Think I will get some new ones with just our surname on though seeing as it's double barrelled now and Caitlyn will be getting all of Aimee's old uniforms, it saves having to change labels..
On the subject of air conditioners... Aren't they terribly un-mse to run? Electrically speaking...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Ladybird you can get them with a little ladybird on them :D
Mine had a teddy which I made mum fold over when I was older ;)
Some companies say you can't put more than one name because they'll cancel the order but the example they used was "Sam Smith Matt Smith"

I was going to get Chris's saying Christopher M Harrison and I've just realised that I could use them for Hubby because he is M Harrison and the same goes for me and Edgar because his middle name is Samuel although now we're responsible grown ups I don't think we need our names in our clothes :rotfl:

SM - you'll regret saying that that when next week half of sheff is underwater :p

edit - Krystal the company I linked to sell on ebay I think just found them as I'm in a spending mood (don't tell hubby but I've spent about £150 in the last 2 days :o)

  • we had some terrible news in the last few days,
my sister in law gave birth to our nephew at 23 weeks gestation, he was born alive but just too small to make it, he was only 1lb 2oz
he died not long after birth,

i feel so awful for her but dont know what to say, poor girl... her first baby too
i cant imagine anything like this happening to me, i think it would finish me off.

AT LAST! The beast sleeps! :j :j
Krystal - yes air cons are not very MSE but neither is having a super grumpy baby and mummy and daddy because no-one can sleep and mummy can't be bothered to cook cos it's too hot so we end up with more take outs (whooops)
So it'll be MSE in the long run really ;)
