Jamie is now 26w and 19lb 6oz. I sat down on the mats with him surrounded by toys and was busy chatting away when one of the Mum's said 'he's really coming on, how long has he been doing that?'. He was sitting up all by himself!!. I mumbled 'er, only just recently actually' :rotfl:.
xx
On the subject of refreshments, our normal 'Big Boobie' (the one who runs the booby club) was at a funeral today and we got cheese and corned beef sandwiches....
....let me run that by you again - cheese AND corned beef on the same sandwich
Not so good for our 4 veggies
Bring back Big Boobie

Oh - to hot people - depending on how hot and bothered you will get going there, taking baby to library/supermarket/somewhere else with aircon might be a plan? That's what I'm going to resort to if we get desparate - pop round the corner to mr t, and stand in the cheese aisle for a while
Congrats on finding a nursery you like!
Standing in the cheese aisle means buying yummy cheese - not good for mummy's-jelly-belly!!
It's our third wedding anniversary todayit was this bl00dy hot (if not hotter) when we got married. I am expressing with a glass of champagne
hubby might be on a promise if I can bear the closeness in this blooming heat....do you think they would appreciate me in Mr T's cheese aisle right now

ermmm, yum?
Who on earth would want cheese and corned beef together
I ate three!!! Any food not prepared by myself is heavenly food
Plus - Benjamin was doing his impression of an angel child so I scoffed 3 whilst I could :rotfl:
We also had the usual assortment of fruit - strawberries, pineapple, 2 types of melon, grapes, apple, plums, kiwi, mango and blueberries (they were a first today LOL!)

I'm not sure how good it would be for babies, but I have had freezer packs to hand since I got home from work. I've got several squishy ones, so I took one out with me, and had it down my back in the car. Then while I watched TV I had a wine bottle cooler on each wrist. Bliss ...Signature removed for peace of mind0

I think they are essential mum uniform now... at all the baby groups I either end up cross legged on the floor in front of ferg, therefore dangerous knicker flashing possibilities in a skirt...or kneeling, therefore jeans but boiling hot, IYSWIM?

Thanks for the nursery info, ladybird. I managed to cover most of those at the other nurseries and the brochure for the one today has covered a lot of them already.
It says we will be £50 a year worse off with vouchers as we lose some tx credits but as we don't get any anyway (mistake - theirs - while I was at Uni means we are paying back anyway)I think I might still go with the vouchers. Would tht be stupid does anyone know?0
