FG - do you have the link to the website that gives survival rates for premature babies?

I have found out today i have gestational diabetes and premature labour is a risk.

    Thanks

    That's the one! Thanks

Has come as a huge shock especially as they even debated whether or not to test me!

    How are you and Toby?

I'm p'd off with Tesco!! They have a fan that says "now half price £6.49" but still shows as £12.99 on the price and doesn't reduce in the basket, checkout etc.

Where did it say 'now half price'? Doesn't it say something on the Tesco's thread about Shelf labels etc and you claiming that price.. Icant remember too much but will have a look for you....

Have had a fab day at the beach today with my class but have caught the sun a little bit :o Got back to school just in time for a huge thunderstorm but the weather all day was lovely.

I'm considering putting Tom into a nursery a day or two a week and I'm off to see another one tomorrow. Seen three already but none that I was over the moon with. I can remember someone writing a list of questions to ask and I think I covered most of them but can anyone remember the post in question so I can refresh my memory. Also I think I'll be able to take some of my pay in childcare vouchers - anyone now anything about that?

elle - I wouldn't worry too much about Rhys needing glasses; half of our school seems to wear them - and the ones who don't all seem to wish they did! Nothing as strange as children!

Glam that sucks! What were your results if you don't mind me asking? I was tested too and had glucose intolerance apparently  But i did a lot of reading up at the time as I was convinced I'd have GD :)

Elle - glasses... You're talking to a "blind as a bat" without her glasses gal here :) It's not the end of the world and thanks to Harry Potter it;s cool for kids to wear glasses now :)

feely, as long as you're happy feeding Toby on demand then there's no rush to wean him... I felt really pressured into weaning Aimee early, she didn't need food and it did nothing for her sleeping so this time I plan to hold off as long as possible... If you do blw then there's not even any need to gaff about with purees and spoons...

We just had our first family meal out... Caitlyn screamed pretty much the whole time and was on and off my boob constantly... Every member of staff in pizza hut Walsall has now had a good eyeful of my bangers!

Tried some gripe water when we got back, it was always a winner with Aimee... Caitlyn bought it all back up over my bed, then had a big feed, and bought all that up to just to make sure! She's not keen on the heat and it's making her not sleep... I feel like a zombie!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

The first one was 5 and the second was 7.8.Apparently they class anything 7.8 or above as GD

The best thing is when I arrived they asked me to confirm my mums history and I said Type 1, so they said oh we normally only test for people with a history of Type 2 so said it was my choice to have test. Am glad I did now! Going back tomorrow to learn how to test blood sugar etc.

Was typical I was on a high after being offered a new job (at 28 weeks!!) and then got my results!

I'm hoping to wait till 6 months before we start weaning. Will wait and see how we get on, but I'm happy to spend lots of time on the sofa feeding him. After all the hassle of expressing and bottles, even when he is having a constant feeding day, it still feels so relaxing and easy!

We are good thanks, Toby is incredibly happy despite the heat. I'm hiding inside in pajamas and eating icecream. I don't deal well with heat! It hit 30 here today.
