hello angela, nice to meet you, im amazed they let you home at only 2 weeks, your Rose must be a real little fighter! how much does she weigh??

She weighed 4lb 40z when she was born...went down to 3lb 10oz and is now 5lb 4oz. She was 4lb 2oz when we bought her home from hospital, which was 3 weeks ago. So has put on 1lb 2oz in 3 weeks.

I think thats okay as she is small x

Angela - what a fighter Rose must be! Have you tried Fenugreek? As someone said, Krystal is our resident BF guru (she's a trained counsellor). I'm sure she'll be along with advice soon. And as for expressing, Feelie has been there, done that and got the gold star :T

Sami - seen the multiquote but daren't use it yet!

Right, trying to win a TENS machine on E-bay so need to concentrate.[/QUOTE]

I havent tried Fenugreek, in fact i dont even know what it is!!!

Cloth nappies - we use motherease birth to potty with the inserts, and the motherease airflow wraps. However I value my sleep so he goes into Pampers overnight...

I also use fleece liners, topped with disposable liners for nursery. At home I know if he's has a poo in the morning he is most unlikely to do one until bedtime. I therefore make sure he has no liners so he feels wet...lol.

I only started using cloth at about 3 months, up until then I felt I had enough on my plate!

Just thought I'd mention that I bought 70cl Grants Whisky and 400g Toblerone from Asda today for £9.50 for the grandads off the children for Father's Day :money:.

I saw the deal on Hotdeals a few days ago for £10 but there was no mention of the offer on the shelves so I took them to the CS desk to price check.

What a lovely reason to give her that name! And don't worry, you aren't hi-jacking. The point of the thread is for those in need. Fenugreek is a supplement you can get - I think this is the right stuff http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Bio-Health-Fenugreek-Seed---60-x-550mg_W0QQitemZ310050651013QQcmdZViewItem but Krystal will advise.

Caz - I bid to my max but was outbid, but knew I could get one for cheaper than the winning bid so have just ordered a shiny new one online. Resale value is good so I'll just put it on ebay in a few weeks (fingers crossed!).

Oh & Mrs T - I'm on a promise :T:T He's away on a team-build tomorrow night, but has promised to honour his responsibilities when he gets back. You never know, he might even enjoy it! Love the BJ discussion. PMSL!!:rotfl: On that, he asked if it made a difference how the 'juice' was administered. Thought he was talking about turkey basters (eww!) but he was actually pitching for a BJ. Told him that wouldn't get it to the appropriate place so that's the end of that :rotfl:Nice try though...

Bump pics due any day now so will share asap. V excited!

Oh, and we told Imogen we'd been to see the doctor at the hospital about the baby and the doc said the baby wasn't ready to come just yet. She seemed okay with this, so hopefully she'll settle a bit more now.

Evening Angela, I'd offer you loads of information at this point but our wonderful and well informed ladies have all beaten me to it :D

If you're getting plenty of wet and dirty nappies and she's alert and well then you still have enough milk. If she's getting fussy it could very well be a growth spurt, full term babies generally have one at around 6 weeks but I don't know how this relates to premies... I do have my big book of breastfeeding out but a miserable Caitlyn is monopolising me at the moment... Otherwise, keep popping her to the breast, keep it as relaxed and low key as possible... Have you mastered lying down feeding yet? We do it for hours in the evening to get settled for bed time...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
