  • My Friend has a luna and loves it the only problem she has is her ds is quite tall at 18 months and looks too big for it already!
Bailey nice to see you back glad you are feeling better.

Re: Baby weight.... I went to see the nurse at our gp practise for a healthy diet sheet and she will weigh me once a month... I told her I put 3 1/2 stone on when pregnant and had managed to lose 1 stone - she was really estactic saying how well I had done Errr hello shes nearly 15 months ??? anyway I really need the discipline of being weighed by someone else and was reluctant to pay for slimming clubs so this week Iv lost 5lbs:j

feelie I was looking at some bras for you, figleaves seem to do nursing bras look here then search your size. I've never had there bras but have used them for other items. There is a code here for 20% off. I know there not cheap but you might struggle to find nursing bras in that size.

Bailey good to see you back and glad your getting your PND under control again. Molly is clever for using an open cup

  • I need to get molly some different suntan lotion to the normal boots one i've been using, its making her ezcema flare up.

Can anyone recommend anything that wouldn't aggrevate it, i've been looking at e45 and simple but at about £10 a go i don't want to waste money and would prefer word of mouth.

    Thanks.
  • Bailey I got a tube of Simple Factor 50 from our local Bodycare shop - it was £2.50.

I use johnsons suncare baby 40spf. I got it last year in semichem for 4.99 for the 200ml bottle. This seems the same but just the kids version and not baby and it's cheap.

Bailey - Millie had (fingers crossed) really terrible eczema but she has always been able to use Johnsons suntan lotion without any trouble.

If it helps, Millies eczema was really bad from being about 1yr old to about 3yrs old, its improved massively over the last couple of years so hopefully all the stories you hear about kids growing out of it are true and Molly will also grow out of it, either that or the hundreds and thousands of creams/medicines/bath stuffs we've tried have finally had some effect!

Ok sami this one is for you
"Beep when you see me beep when you do" and please don't tell me you know the dance to this one as well :rotfl:
No more hanas helpline, it's not fair!!! Honest I don't spend all my time watchin kids TV :rotfl::rotfl:
:eek:I don't know that one  I've not seen much milkshake since Edgar was born tho because Hubby has let me sleep in a bit :T I don't want him to go back to work!! :(
Chris is mostly singing "chugga chugga chugga chuuuugington" at the moment tho good old cbeebies

Bailey - we use ambre soilel (sp?) kids spray and nivea baby sun cream neither affect Chris's eczema. I got the nivea on BOGOF in tesco last yr i think its £7 a bottle normally (such a rip off!)
I'd avoid banana boat baby cream as I got some without looking a while ago and then realised although its 40spf its only 1 star for UVA.

Well Edgar now officially exists :j It was quite scary as I went out on my own with him, it was thunder and lightning so I had to put him in the buggy (its suitable from birth) as P&T is at my mum's until my buyers have picked up the SX which they should be doing tomorrow and I didn't want to try and carry him under my coat if it started throwing it down. Luckily we made it back to the car about 5 seconds before the heavens opened, so now I need to sort out child benefit, tax credits my tax, NI and MA - I'm not sure my brain will cope!!
oh and I realised I'm gonna have to sort my passport as I forgot to tell MIL to book our holiday under my maiden name so I have to update it now and I think it costs about £80 :rolleyes: I'm waiting until closer to the time to get Edgars so his pic will be better ;)

random Qu; has anyone with blonde highlights used a henna home dye thing? my roots are rediculous but I won't be able to go and spend 3hrs at the hair dressers for a while so thought henna would be safe and look nice in the mean time?

I think Sami is right, as always!
  • Sami - I home-dyed on Sat and ended up ginger rather than the blonde I was aiming for!!! I need to put another colour on!

Thing is, these days I don't look at myself in the mirror (we don't even have a mirror downstairs) so I keep forgetting that I have a ginger bonce :rotfl:

Whilst I am passing on Which reports (just passed the results of the baby seat testing to the preg thread) they were testing own-brand sunscreens in the June issue, the following are Don't Buys:

    Marks & Spencer
    Tesco
    Wilko
Malibu - which is not own-brand but nevertheless it is not recommended.

Top of the pops was Asda Sun System which at £3 provided an SPF of 24 (when rated as factor 15)
