Been trying to share a decent photo for ages and finally got round to loading this one photo.php?pid=2441133&l=b37da3e352&id=644831509

    ETA: Oh !!!!!!! Here's the link http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=2441133&l=b37da3e352&id=644831509

Had a lovely day, but have run out of vases for all my flowers. DH bought me some from the kids which were delivered this am. He wasn't that pleased that the house was already full of them as this is only the 3rd-ish time he's bought me 'proper' flowers (not allowed me to choose my own at the supermarket!) in 10 years! Nevermind, will do some rearranging. I'm not complaining.

He's bought me some riding lessons for my birthday as an excuse for some 'me' time when LO #2 comes along. We went to a tack shop to buy gloves and try on boots. It's been about 18 years since I rode properly and I can't wait to get started again! We also went out for lunch and I spent a bit of my birthday money on some Birkenstocks - just the comfiest thing I've ever worn!!

Anyway, hugs to those who need them. Good house vibes for others and now I'm off to make tea.

I started straight away cos the advice not to diet seemed all for breastfeeding mums...

not that I'm a virtuous type, just really couldn't be faffed to but a whole new wardrobe! I hate clothes shopping :o. Did buy a few transition items tho...:D

eta: ps walking helps I agree! I still use the sling and fergie weighs a stone now, so that's quite good exercise!

  • question when did you start trying to shift your baby weight?? or have you not bothered???? x

i started a WW diet last monday and ive lost 3 1/2 lbs ... yay me!

I was a little over weight before but nothing outrageous, not really noticable to anyone but me and OH (and he doesnt care how big i am)
then i gave up smoking, my FAVOURITE thing... id been on 20 a day for 15 years and gave it up cold turkey, hard work but i put on some weight,
then i fell pregnant with the boy, when i had him i had to go on some medication for almost a year which seemed to help me pile it on and now im bloody enormous,
well, bigger than ive ever been and its not good,

we are getting married next year and i dont want everything else to be perfect and me looking like a lost hippo, so ive started my diet.

  • Goodness me, ive just had to skip about 50 odd pages and i think i;ve only been away a little over a week? Sorry guys but I can't keep up with you anymore, i'm just going to have to read the most recent page and wing it!

Congrats to the inevitable newbies, whoever you are.

I'm back on my PND tabs which are starting to kick in and feeling better than in ages, still have some bad days but they are less than before.

Molly is now drinking out of an open cup, desperate to be like Jack. She has 6 teeth and 2 more on the way, such a late teether that she is. She is a lovely girl though and trying to talk. She seems to be doing everything far earlier than her brother but then she has him to copy.

Jack is enjoying playschool and finally after 6 months goes in without crying, he used to stop as soon as I left anyway. We've finally got him off his nightbottle and he drinks his milk out of an open cup cold now, well all the time the weather is warm anyway.

My glandular fever is playing up lately, i've had such a sore throat and feeling very very tired, but have had to muddle through will go to bed soon.

Hope everyone is well and little ones are progressing nicely.
