    Hi all..

Thankyou for your opinions on pumps. I got the Medela Swing from Boots (£88.08). I don't remember a Medela voucher, Sami, but I think I was still dosed up on morphine when I looked at my Bounty bags so that doesn't mean much.. Will use it for accessories if there is one. Have used it twice so far and it seems good enough - not quite as strong as the hospital ones, but at least that avoids the "grit your teeth" moment when you switch from one phase to the other! :)

Am so shattered.. Had a waffy moment in Boots earlier - think I need to go back on the iron tablets. Am going for a check up with my GP on Wed and need blood tests for my u/a thyroid so will as him to tick the FBC box too. Can go back down to see the midwives who took care of me to have the blood test done rather than going over to the path lab at the hospital so it will be nice to see them and update them on Rhys even if they are going to wave needles at me!

Rhys is still doing well, now in a cot with minimal monitors on him.. All the nurses keep coming in for a peek at him. Can't believe it was four weeks ago now that he was born and only two weeks ago when he was at a seriously low point and we didn't know if he would make it.. I'm one very proud mummy to have such a wee fighter! :D:D

Hope everyone and your little ones are well :)

thanks for the update elle, glad rhys is doing so well :)

hugs for caz and all who may need one!

I'm off to the second meet of my health visitor-led first-time mums group today, it's on safety.

DH and I went to the carboot sale on sun looking for stairgates but someone had just bought the only ones there :(

today before I go out at 1.15 I need to do a load of washing, hang it out, water my veg seedlings and do some tidying and have a bath and hairwash..... oh and look after fergus too!:o;)

    Wish me luck?

    Weezl xxx

weezl seth doesnt seem to like tummy time, he just gives an almighty squeal and rolls over looking very surprised with himself!! good luck :D i still marvel at how much effort it is to get anything done with a baby, i think he knows when i want to do something and throws pickles deliberately

elle, rhys is such a little fighter, i'm so pleased for all of you!
