Guess who latched on last night! He was on for at least 10 minutes, and he definitely drank!

He didn't want to feed in the night, or this morning, but I know he can do it now!

Fingers crossed that we'll be breastfeeding properly soon!

Also on the subject of my clever baby, he has two five hour sleeps each night - I didn't know breastfed babies could go that long!
:T:T:T Yey Toby!!! Fabulous news Honey! xxx

    That's great news!

I have just moved almost everything out of Alice's room into ours so that we can be taking it to the new house while Alice is sleeping. My arms are killing me. OH and Alice have gone to pick up friends and sandwiches so am having a little rest before I carry on.

Feely, that's fantastic news, well done Toby!!!

Keep it up with the skin to skin and taking things slowly... It could be tempting to rush it at this point and both end up frustrated but if you both stay calm and relaxed he'll be a champ at it in no time. :D

    Feely that's brilliant :)

I've been laughing at the birth stories (and gasping at the dramatic ones too!) - I don't think I said anything funny. Not sure I even swore, just yelled owowowow over and over! I did decide I couldn't do it when I could feed exactly where I was tearing though .
