They can come back irrelgularly to start with Bruno, it's all hormonal so if Elijah feeds a bit more one day than another it might affect the hormone production for that month and stall a period... It doesn't mean she's not ovulating though, especially if he is on solids and sleeping long periods at night, so make sure you take precautions!
((AF))A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Well done Feelie and Toby, well done for believing in yourself that it would all work out in the end:D
Sami - Thank you for the update on elle, I can't imagine what she must be going through. Please pass on my love and tell her Rhys is beautiful.

Update on my night out....
Well MIL turned well after we had asked her to, as flaming usual, which meant I had exactly 10 minutes to show her whre everything was kept talk her through feeds and the bedtime routine, show her how everything works etc...It was a rush to say the least.
So, we phoned her when we got there and she said everything was fine, he had been fed and was now napping in his swingy chair. We did our best and 'mostly' relaxed and enjoyed the show. The concert was absolutely fantastic:D:D
On the way home we were chatting to other concert goers so hadn't the chance to phone her. although she did phone us after about 45mins on the coach, asking how to work the baby monitor:rolleyes: We got in at about 12.30...so he must have been a long time with no monitor on!!!
Anyway it turns out she hadn't listened to a single thing I had told her. He had drank less than 2oz out of one bottle and about 3oz out of the other, whears he should have drank about 4-5oz out of each (when dh asked how his feed went she said fine he finished in about 10mins!!!) she had taken his vest off when putting his sleepsuit on for bed, he was in bed with his head almost at the top of the cot, the blinds and curtains were wide open and to top it off because she had put him so far up the cot he wasn't lying on the sensor mat and therefore when he wriggled himself slightly further up he cot, as he always does.....yep, the alarm started screaming at me at 3am, cue me almost killing myself while flying to his room thinking he wasn't breathing and taking ages to calm down afterwards, so not getting much sleep......:mad: I had gone through every single one of these points before we left - I might aswell not have bothered
Also, 'the big boys' in the space of 4hrs (from 5pm -9pm ) between us leaving and them going to bed....she had given them a Mars bar, a whole packet of biscuits, a large bag of onion rings, and an ice-cream....I mean, I am not against them having a treat but even I think that is a bit of overkill:eek: I had already given them dinner, because I knew she would be completely incapable of doing it.
Overall a good night out but wouldn't leave her with them again, unless we are able to go out later and so they are all in bed.
Sorry for the long post/rant

Yep, I'd be tempted not to get her to babysit again too! Poor you Mel!
Hope you catch up on some rest soon?!
We didn't sleep so well last night, cos the cold that Fergie's been faffing around getting and then not getting ever since birthgot worse in the night and he started choking, and panicking cos he couldn't breathe through his nose. We decided it wasn't a hungry cry so stuck to our guns on the food front, but it was really tempting to give him a bottle to see if it would soothe him back to sleep! Glad we didn't though, because I'm a bit scared of what baby whisperer calls 'accidental parenting' where some poor parent makes one duff decision in the middle of the night and it all goes pear shaped!

OMG what a dumb blonde bimbo (honest I'm not blonde) I've only just realised what you meant by "yellow escort cab", I thought OH had bought you a yellow taxi so it was big enough to carry your brood lol How stupid am I:rotfl:Everyone is entitled to their opinionEllie 25/12/070 -
probably a really obvious tip for everyone else, but: when hanging out a whole pile of baby clothes on the washing line, use the poppers looped over the line to attach them (just one popper is enough) no faffing around with pegs, a secure hold, and no wet bit under where the peg was when the rest is dry!:D
deep joy!
it's the small things in life!...

Chris is 2yrs 5mths and still has 6 to go but most of his friends have had all of theirs for months.
I think I'll be dealing with a teething child for the next 10yrs because by the time Chris has all of his baby will be getting them and once baby is done Chris will be getting Adult teeth and so on0 -
Ta Bruno and Fritha.
Will be thinking of Elle. Makes you stop taking everything for granted doesn't it.
We are at the in-laws at the moment, and left Izzy in charge of granny and aunty while we popped out to the shops, and came back to find she was out for a walk. She is back now, and fast asleep in her buggy. Luxury!Isabella Molly born 14th January 2009
