Yes I'm another guy who has been coned, by Sunday Solution. I have had the same problems as the rest of the guys on the forum. Can anyone tell me the way forward. Is there anyone else that was involved with the Sherman Bustamante partnership?

Hi all, I too have been having problems with Bradbury. I sent emails to various contacts I have dealt with in the past and one of them replied to me. They said:
Bradbury are still trading and are endeavouring to provide partnership supplements to enable the contractors/partners to prepare their personal tax returns. Regarding the retention monies these are held by the partnerships and statements are currently being distributed to each partner advising them of the balance helds. After the issues relating to accounts, returns, retention monies etc have been resolved Bradbury is intending to return documents, expense receipts etc to the partners.
This basically means that we should receive a detailed letter from Bradbury which gives a breakdown of our accounts. Another contact at Bradbury told me that we will have to submit our own tax return forms, they won't be doing it for us this time round. If we do have money still held in an account by Bradbury, there will be a process we have to follow to release the money, and this will also be sent out to us. I don't know whether we can beleive this or not. Either way, it looks as though we are on our own with the next tax return, so it is probably a good idea to contact another accountant and see if they can help you to submit your form. If I hear anything else from them, I will let you know.
I also reported our problems to Watchdog via their website, but have had no response. If there haven't been many people complaining to them, they probably don't think there is a good enough story. If people are still experiencing issues with Bradbury, please get in touch with Watchdog, as the more people they have contacting them, the more likely they are to run with this.
Also, a previous post said there was a group which had been set up, and they were taking leagal action. I sent a mail to the email address they provided, but got no response.I'm not sure if this group still exists, if it does, can someone pls contact me.Thanks,Theresa

I have mail addresses for 3 people at Bradbury but haven't heard from anyone since last week and have a feeling I won't now. I was told by Andrew N's neighbour the family are away which I was expecting to happen eventually. I have contact details for Andrew Mcintyre though his phone is now switched off and he isn't responding to mails and has done in the past.

I want to complete my Self Assessment for 08/09 and will be writing to HMRC to ask for their advice. If anyone else has written to them I would be grateful to hear what the response was.

Bradbury and Co tried to strike off the company from companies house last month. Some people apparently realized this was happening and wrote to companies house to stop the company from being stroke-off:

Could you please send us a copy of the letter you sent WatchDog. I believe most of us on this Forum can write to them based on what you already wrote to them.

Hello Myaccount. It wasn't a letter, it was just some info I had to enter on a form on the Watchdog website. Here it is:

I joined an umbrella company when I became self employed. This company was called Sunday Solutions. They then advised that they were passing me across to an group of accountants called Bradbury and Co who would submit my tax return forms for me. Since then, I have had nothing but trouble with them. It turns out I am not alone, at least 6 people I work with have had dealings with the company, and when I googled the company, there is a massive forum on Martin's money tips discussing lots of other people experiencing the same problems. We have all had money retained from our wages to cover our tax bills, and the company is not paying the money to HMRC. My next tax bill is due to be paid in January 2010, and I can no longer get hold of the company. They moved out of the office in Bath where they were trading back in July 09, and have employed a company called rocket.com to take messages from anyone that calls the office. So many people have thousands of pounds worth of unpaid tax bills outstanding, and no one knows what to do. We could all appreciate an investigation taking place to see where we stand and whether we can get our money back. It looks like the directors of the company have absconded with the money.I have also recently found out that Sunday Solutions is now trading uner a new name of Reed Umbrella, but I don't know if they are still linked to Bradbury. I'd really appreciate someone contacting me about this. I'm sure you will find hundreds of people in the same situation as me.

I think it would be advantageous for you to group together and add up roughly how much these %$$^%%$s actually owe you total ? A company that defrauds a few grand isn't as newswrothy as one that has defrauded A QUARTER MILLION is it?
That would grab attention of anyone who you asked to investigate.

This is fraud IMHO, or theft as you didn't lend them your money in anyway and they won't give it to you?

Made me angry just reading this. I hope you get justice and your hard eearned funds returned soon.

I too am a victim of this scam and am so very annoyed by this. Like many others I have been fobbed off my the many companies involved with Sunday Solutions and Bradbury. They have around 7k of my money which was retained for Tax purposes.
There is another company which if you look up on Companies House website that are called 'Reed Umbrella' and were previously known as Sunday Solutions.
I contacted them but were only willing to help if I basically signed up with them otherwise nothing.....

I too contacted Watchdog yesterday and also Trading Standards.

We all need to club together and get someone to help us fight our battle.

We need to make this public maybe go to the press?

Please lets not let them get away with this....... any ideas on how to go about this?
