Hello people,
I am in the same situation.
I was in the partnership : McTiernan Teesdale
The compnay name is "willow meade"
Is there anyone have information/document that relates Sunday solution with willow meade?
Is there anyone have information about sunday solutions insurance ?
Please send it to me if oyu have any?
If I could find the insurance details, I might be able to claim the isurance for the money they own me. I have no other choice legally now.
Cheers
Me too, same partnership. Have emailed my details to the previously mentioned group email address. Let's hope we can shut these guys down.0 -
I spoke to my old boss about this who has been a contractor for a while and she advised me to pay my HMRC tax bill asap and then find an accountant to complete my 2008/9 return and work something out.
Apparently the directors have run of with the money they witheld for us - apparently for our tax bill!
I have emailed the groups and have got no response, if anyone can offer anymore advice can you post here or pm me. thanks0 -
you say "apparantly" they have run off with people's tax money?
please elaborate on this as there are a fair few of us affected by this situation0 -
well I cannot get through to Bradbury and Co at all, there is some sort of messaging service answering their calls.
I also cannot get through to anyone at Sunday Solutions, they have a permanent answerphone message on
despite numerous emails, phone messages, zero response0 -
Having found this thread today - I thought I would join the discussion. I joined Sunday Solutions on advice from a colleague who had been with them for a year of so. When he started having problems I got out as quickly as I could - so I was only with them for about 6 months in 2008-09. As such my tax liabilities have not yet been completed but I am sure I will be in the same boat come next January when final payment is due.
I plan to join the group action, on the basis thta I will have more chance of a result this way than any other. However, I am currently establishing a fund to make sure the HMRC bill is paid on time - I don't need fines, interest and credit black marks!
I have emailed on occasion to get updates and got replies but these are suspiciously "standard" and do not really seem personal to my request. I will keep trying and report success/failure on this forum when I have any news.
Thanks to everyone above for their contributions - I appreciate realising it is not just me and there are a lot of us affected by this - unfortunately "a bitter lesson".0 -
I ran a google search for Sunday Solution and Bradbury problems and found this forum. I have read all the posts in this thread and conclude that no one was able to recover money from Bradbury / Sunday.
In my case, I am still receiving response to my emails from Bradbury even though nothing seems to be happening. In my case they seem to have made a payment recently (in the past few month) which forces me to believe that they are still in the process of settling some payments to HMRC. Having said that, they have not filed my tax returns for 2008/09.
Q1. Bradbury & CO - Phone calls
They don't answer the phones anymore instead the call goes to some call center. Have you guys tried ringing them and has anyone got a call back from the accountants yet ?
Q2. Sunday Solutions - Non existing!!
This seems to be a non-existing entity now. Imagine most of you were registered as partners. Can we show the amount we lost as loss in the partnership ?
Q3. Report to Police:
Has anyone informed the POLICE, if Yes, What was the result of informing the cops ? It would be good to know how to go about doing this.
Q4. HMRC - Inform HMRC about Bradbury ?
How to go about informing the HMRC ? Would they be able to do something about this ? Has anyone tried this approach ?
Q5. Watch Dog BBC
Has anyone given this story to "Watch Dog" BBC ?
Q6. Tax Returns
Did any of you get Bradbury to complete your tax returns for 2007/08 or 2008/2009 in the past few months ? Have they contacted HMRC on your behalf ?
Q7. Court Case:
Do you know of anyone who has already filed a case against Sunday and Bradbury CO ? If yes, what was the outcome ?
Q8. Complete Tax Returns
How to get some other accountant to fill the tax return for the period that Bradbury failed to ?
Q9. People behind this
Have you got mobile numbers of any one who works or worked in Bradbury ? I am sure it would help cops to trace the person behind all this if we chose to go to the cops.
Q11. Suggestions ?
Any other suggestions that would help all of us ?
I know it's too many questions to answer but it would be of great help if you guys could answer these questions. Would appreciate if you'll take sometime to answer the questions above.0 -
thats a good post myaccount.
I cannot answer many of your questions at the moment, I hope someone else can come along and help.
I have been trying to contact Bradbury and Co since the 16th of September via email and telephone and have not had any response, not even a read receipt for my email at all.
You are correct there is some sort of call centre taking messages for them and no accountant has called me back.
Did you receive a Sunday statement saying tax has been paid or and HMRC statement saying it has been paid?
can you pm me the email address of Bradbury where you are getting some sort of response from?
I decided to pay my tax bill myself last week to ensure no further interest and fines from the HMRC!
I am still trying to get a hold of some sort of action group, I have emailed a few known groups, who as I understand have told the police and are looking at the options of what to do as a group but at this moment have not got any positive replies as of yet. They should hopefully be able to answer Q3-Q110 -
Did you receive a Sunday statement saying tax has been paid or and HMRC statement saying it has been paid?
Yes, I received the statement from HMRC.
I called HMRC 4 times to confirm if Bradbury have made payments and last week got a letter from HMRC about the payments made by Bradbury and Co.
They still have not filed my 08/09 taxes which I am really worried about as they have lot of my money with them.0 -
You all need to contact BBC watchdog ASAP as this seems to have spiralled out of control.0

Hi,
I've just come across this forum and just wanted to say that I'm in the same boat with Sunday Solutions. I used Sunday as my umbrella until Jan 2009 then went to work abroad so stopped using them. I have been trying to contact Sunday since July as I need a Partnership statement for my tax return and my tax retention returning. I estimate Sunday owe me about £17K which of course I need to pay HMRC.
Sunday and their accountants Bradbury and Co are not answering e-mails or phone calls.
I've just instructed a solicitor to investigate this but it's expensive so I'd be interested in joining up with anyone to share the cost. The solicitor says he thinks I'm going to have to go to the Police as he suspects fraud.
I live in Bristol and have tried to visit the various registered addresses for these companies but with no luck. Sunday Solutions and Bradbury no longer exist at these addresses. Only Willlow Meade still exist but these are a payroll company employed by Sunday Solutions.
The partnership I was in was Peloquin O'Lowry0
