I am just wary when a lot of low post posters slander a company without any court verdict.

Perhaps they just googled the company name to see if they could find anything out about the company and came across this thread? Everybody has a low post count at some point. And it's not libel / slander unless it is untrue.

So has anyone took this company to court and had their allegations proven true ? Can these people back up their claims in court ? Police would be involved by now for fraud or conspiracy to defraud unless of course it is all untrue.

The police, except for the City of London, see their role as keeping the peace.
We have had some superb threads on here about "obtaining pecuniary advantage by ......"
    Some have been multinational.
The one I particularly remember was about a school boy drop out who had made something like a 6 figure sum and then got his head patted by a kindly judge.
Are you still out there fakebeardyblob taking the mickey out of you victims on this site?
Interestingly the thread has been taken down, perhaps owing to the tender years of the fraudster.

I feel sorry if people have genuinely lost money but how can you say the city of london see their role as keeping the peace ? Do you understand how the police produce evidence to the CPS and also how they prosecute for libel and slander unless a court proves that the people concerned are guilty ?

I said the City of London police have a good reputation for taking the world's largest turnover crime of fraud seriously.
Most other police authorities are trained as action men to keep the Queen's peace, the painstaking work involved in fraud investigation is not a major part of the average bobby's training.
You are not even allowed to report card fraud to the police any more, even if its thousands. Cynics like me would say that is because it makes a mess of the crime statistics; as it is an ever increasing crime.
Handbag snatching is ok though - that is an action man crime..

    John.

    Here are some after thoughts:
How many of the extra million out of work are as a result of the collapse of the banking system, caused by mortgage fraud (aka "liar loans") ?
Don't bounce a cheque in France - you could very well end up in jail.
The "Beardybob" case, that took MONTHS for anyone to take an interest, was conveniently operated out of a forwarding address just South of the Thames in central London.
What is the difference between our relatively successful societies and the basket case economies of the world?
I would suggest that up to now we have had a reasonably honest society, where the majority of citizens do their best to keep their word - but is this still the case? "Do what you can get away with" seems to become the motto these days.
What used to be called lies are now called "spin".

The ECU (economic crime unit) from every force in the UK will say differently. They are constantly taking fraudsters court from places such as ebay and paypal and also constantly prosecuting people for card fraud.

(8 million of our money given away in a matter of a few years.)

(600 million a year of some one's money)

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/politics/2009/jun/14/expenses-fraud-detectives-scotland-yard

(OMG it is not just MP's who are on the take)

    http://www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk/publications/ombudsman-news/21/insurance-fraud.htm

(When there is such wide spread fraud, as suggested by these case studies, it is hardly surprising that it is not a police high priority)

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/money/2009/jul/16/insurance-claims-fraud

(All subsidised by the honest policy holders)

My personal experience is that as a victim of credit card fraud you can never prove it was not you that benefited. The firms involved will bend over backwards to protect the identity and "rights" of the crook.

My personal experience of someone trying to make a spurious insurance claim against me, is that everyone in the chain just sees it as a money making opportunity.
Truth, justice and abiding with the regulations has little to do with it.

My personal experience of trying to report the the theft of 5K from a building society was a farce (I happened to have 3K in my account with the same organisation - so let us cut out the middle man?).

I know of two people who register motor vehicles at a fake address, that happens to be next door to me. If nothing else this enables them to dodge speeding fines etc..
(My attempts to alert the police and Swansea are obviously a waste of time as the situation seems to continue. Guess whose door bell the bailiffs use?).

I look forward to you posting all those spun statistics to show that cases of fraud are under control and dropping year by year; especially now that the ECU's are on the job.

    John.

What next - Electricity theft is falling now that the boys in blue have sorted the cannabis farming industry?

Why are all these people that make these claims all have low post counts ?

I would have thought that was obvious: I'm certain, like me, most the users are not standard users of the site. They would have googled Bradbury/Sunday and found the forum and signed up...

Are you accusing me of some kind of dishonsety? LOL
  • Hi there

I am messaging as i am concerned with my situation.
My situation is slightly different but about the same company. My january 2007/2008 tax return was filled in and paid. I received a statement saying that i had money left over to pay july and some spare. I was advised to wait until after the July payment and then get the excess back.
Now i have contacted them, but all i get is an answerphone and no reply to any of my emails. I have contacted sunday solutions and am waiting a reply.
I am worried they have dissapeared, and then when i read this i am even more concerned i wont get my money back.
  • Just got back from holiday and have had problems contacting Sunday Solutions and Bradbury. I have actually not worked since end of January 2008.

Sunday has a message saying their offices are closed, and Bradbury has a message saying their lines are all busy and leave a message, and you then get told the mailbox is full. I can see why now.

I had tax problems with them also, and they were 'supposedly' in the process of reducing my tax liability. Now I am not so sure.??

My email address is psteel at tesco dot net, and I'd be prepared to join a group to get our money back.

I have a low post count as I visit infrequently.
