  • Just got my accounts after months of silence and, I hate to say it, but they appear to be correct according to my forecast.

    Nothing else to say.

    I'm speechless.
  • Hi kerlisiimo, can you please elaborate on ' but they appear to be correct according to my forecast. '?

interesting, lets see if mine turns up along with a cheque for the tax bill I had to pay to the HMRC

Before I joined Sunday I was given a forecast illustrating breakdown of money in, fees and expenses etc. The figures tally - I'm not saying it will cover my tax bill, I have that yet to discover, but they are the same as my forecast.

    Hi Kerlisiimo,

Have they actually paid you any money?

    Cheers

    Mike
  • They told me the same forecast thing. But I recieved a letter from them last year before they do the STAR, saying 'we with held your tax money eveythime when we pay, at the monet it is £****'. So I think the forecast includes tax also. Obviously they are not answering me now.

No - the email arrived today...
  • I have just emailed Alastair Quinn, and so has my work colleague. The thing is, up until now, Bradbury has paid the outstanding tax owing for both of us, so no crime has been commited. The big question is though, whether they will pay the money owing in Jan 2010, only time will tell.

There is a lot of people on this forum who have said they still have funds outstanding. I urge any of these people to email Alastair, as the more information he has about a crime being commited, the more they can do.
    Thanks,Theresa

I am not sure if they would pay the money owing in Jan 2010. If they really are working towards paying money towards our Tax payments, why would they refrain from responding to our emails ?

I haven't heard anything from them for 3 weeks now. As far as I am concerned, them not responding to our emails inspite of holding all our hard earned money, is a Crime!

    Few questions:

    1) Do any of you know who the actual administrator of your partnership is? I was always led to believe this either Sunday or Bradbury, but it is neither. The address I was given for my partnership is a bogus address and the telephone number goes to an answering service. Bradbury refuse to give me any other details and told me the partnership does not want to be contacted. That is rediculous since I effectively work for them!

    2) Do any of you know the names and contact details of other partners in your partnership? Bradbury refuses to give these details.

What we think is criminal and what the law says is criminal are two different things. Bradbury witholding money that is rightfully ours, is probably wrong. I do not know what the details around that is, how long can they keep it for? Once you agree to the settlement amount and sign your release letter, how long are they allowed to actually make the payment? The letter actually states:

"Upon my agreement to the above, The Partnership will release the amount of £xxxxx relating to my undistributed profit share, which for the avoidance of doubt is recorded as ‘Full and final payment."

Most of you will probably get these letters come through in the coming weeks, so be prepared for that and start thinking about the next step, getting the money out of them.
