one plus is, that i don't seem to have had the want to eat everything in sight/moody biatch PMT that has befell me in previous months albeit with lighter bloodflow...
i'll settle for a heavier period if it stops me being a moody/greedy mare.....I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Morning

Off to a BBQ today. Any ideas what to eat and what to avoid? I was thinking meat and saladIs it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

hi guys i am still here lurking, loving these pledges - i am away at our caravan at the weekend so will join you on the pledge from monday onwards (if thats ok?), i get weighed at 12.30 today, think i will be lucky to have lost one lb - if i have managed 2 (which is doubtful if i am honest) - i will have made my first stone, will check in later - was away last weekend and got caught up in bbqs wine etc .............. note to all if you have a caravan it is harder to stick to this diet, well it is for me cos i am so easily led LOL .............

Quote of the day ~
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort. ~ Herm Albright
Whoop Whoop on the loss Duncan :j :j As you say because you ahd a high loss last week maybe thats why its low. keep going 100% all week and I bet you will lose at least 4lb
Maz ~ ummm not too nice, I feel for you. I hope it stops/slows soon, however if its helping that can only be a good thing
Well done all you 100%er ~ I nearly cracked last night  Mum brought home rolo donuts (they are the most amazing thing ever) and a box of celebrationsI have now banned myself from the kitchen :rotfl:

Can i put you down for a 100%er yesterday then Spud??
I've been thinking about this "having" to eat bit. The challenge is keeping me going and someone mentioned doing it again next week. I am more than happy to do it again, it really really helps me.
But I know that sometimes its just unavoidable, I have a lunch meeting on Tuesday and will have to have something.
I don't want to demotivate anyone from joining in if they know they have a do! and give them yucky unsmiley faces.
Was thinking if someone Has to eat if you plan in advance what you have and declare it and stick to it. You havent gone off plan and can still have a happy clappy smiley.
What does everyone think????
Oh and sorry Spud, meat, although try and avoid burgers and sausages unless they are good quality ones, they tend to be filled out with rusk, fish, bbq Salmon is one of my favourites, green salad sounds fine, just avoid the bread, dips and the like. If you want a bit of dressing olive oil and vinegar with some salt and pepper is nice, no carbs so shouldn't mess with your ketosis.0 -
Pap - what exactly is a momjii doll?
Is it gwen stefani perfume?
am i old and out of touch?!
I have a niece who is very into japan and anime type stuff, and she has some wee doll things... and is collecting the perfumes too....... but i think they are unrelated...
i never know what's japanese and what's chinese, and apparently to not know is like a cardinal sin!!
and yes, sorry, this is nothign to do with CD... sorry! well it kinda is as it's Pap's reward for 30lbs related! lol!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Sue - in my opinion planned eating is okay, but alcohol or serious carbs is not acceptable? - does that seem like a compromise?
I do want to break out of the reward for losses being food related too... but it seems to mean a lot to the family that we have something nice on a sunday night.......
if it ain't broke don't fix it, i guess in my case...
i'm dying for my choc tetra today and don't have one! how annoying!!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Duncan ~ I totally understand the problem with this diet is its so social restrictive that unless you are a hermit (like moi) there is no way on earth you can managed 100% for the months that you will be on it. I think a small sceduled meal would be ok as long as they are good choices. Think SS+ meal or 810 meal so its still in guidlines with CD. Obviously when you are at a pub etc it can be much haredr but I think as long as you are sensible one meal a week isnt too bad.
Spud ~ Yep I would go protin and little salad/veg. Also try and go for white meat (fish and chicken) rather than red meat. Again thats in guidelines for CD. Just dont be tempted with alcopops and trifle
Maz ~ I know its the rolo that pumped inside the donut that has me... and the choc sprinklesI couldnt even watch my brother eat the four he scoffed. There are two left... I will not eat them :T
Momjii doll's are indeed little japanese dolls. I am not too over keen on anime and kawaii but momjii's are too cute. But they are expensive anything from £10 to £30 for the designer ones. However I thought I *need* something to look forward too. Ofcourse losing the weight in itself is fab but when I am giving all my energy and spare cash to this I must have a reward. So my first will be Mabel... hopefully in a monthish time :T
Then hopefully once I am down to my ultimate goal 10/11stone I will be saving for my Doug Hyde print (artist in my avitar)0
