Phew, her scales are still showing I've lost 3lbs, so I'm happy with that.
She's suggested having a small amount of carbs (tennis ball sized jacket spud with protein and salad) the night before a run instead of the third shake - sounds sensible so I'll give it a try and see if it helps with the dizziness and tiredness post-run.
She's away for the next two weeks so it's 3 weeks now till my next weigh in! :eek:
God I will be mortified if I haven't had a decent loss when she gets back - must try harder!!

No, I didnt know that Dunc. It seems CDC missed telling me quite a lot.
Hmmm something to think about
You just need to do your own weekly weigh ins. As long as its the same scales and you do it at the same time (preferably naked, first thing in the morning, before a shower or having a drink, and don't forget to hold your tummy in!!) you can record your own losses.
Because I started earlier than when I saw the CDC as I had leftover packs from a previous attempt I don't take any notice of the CDC weigh in, I record my own. I don't cheat either, you know by leaning sideways.0 -

Doc wouldn't sign my forms! She isn't keen on the idea, I have just started having hypno for my food issues, she said see how that goes first, and go back in 6 weeks if I haven't had any success she will discuss it with me again.
Just looked for your earlier posts, if you are only a size 20 I wouldn't have thought it was that high. Or (ignore me if I'm being nosey) do you have any other contra indications??? You also told us that the doctor gave you pills. I can't believe they let you have pills, which are decidedly not good for you, and won't let you try a tried and tested nutritionally complete VLCD.
I'd have a chat with the CDC and see if you can start on one of the higher plans if she insists you have the docs approval.0 -

I've had a carp day, been running about like a loon, Son is in the dog house, BIG time,:mad: didn't realise till 4.30 i'd had nothing since brekkie, fortunatley I had an emergency tetra with me as I had just arrived at the pool and wasn't going to get in till 7.45pm.
Havent had enough water, would kill right now for a bottle of wine - not a glass - a bottle!!
Still on 100% day though, so will keep smiling, a very positive side to a sh1te day, will take Dunc out for a walk now and walk off that stress instead of drinking it off:j0 -

Hi Guys
I've been trying to maintain and have put a bit of weight on, and i'm starting again on monday, as i want to loose a stone, in 4 weeks.
I'd like to start now, but i'm out to girls aloud tomorrow and hubby is taking us for a nice, spanish meal so i have to join in. Then on sat and sunday i will low carb, and i have my shakes and porridge for the next 2 weeks.
So if i could join you guys i'd like to
