    Hiya, there are different steps, there is step 1 (very low calorie diet) which is called sole source, where you have 3-4 packs (milkshakes/soup) a day (depending on height/gender) & at least 2.5 liters of water & & sole source+ as above but you add a 200cal meal or have 4 packs & some milk.
    Then there's step 2 (low calorie diet) which you have to do if you have certain medical conditions or have a bmi of over 40 which is the same as sole source but you add a meal from the list of protein & veg. Not sure on the other steps as I haven't got there yet but there is more info here http://www.cambridgeweightplan.com/
