How are you finding Exante?? I lost alot on CD years ago but 3 kids later and i need to loose around 100lb to get to the lower end of the BMI scale. I'm struggling to find a councillor in my area this time for CD but not sure if i will get on with another diet

Hey everybody! I'm starting the Cambridge diet tomorrow (well today actually, it's past midnight!) and I'm quite excited.

I've been gradually putting on weight slowly over the last 7 years, despite several diets and exercise drives! Just can't seem to shift it or stop the upgoing trend!! Really motivated about starting this diet though, fingers crossed! Bit scared as agreed to go to a party on Friday which usually involves plenty of alcohol but I'm going to try and resist peer pressure and stay on the water. It would be better not to go, but I agreed to it ages ago!

Also a bit concerned about side effects like hair loss and bad breathe, yuck! Has anyone found these a problem? Also I work in a hospital and patients are always giving the staff sweets and chocolates to say thank you so it's going to be a nightmare dodging them!!

I'm not one of those people who can have just one chocolate or a couple of crisps. I'm very greedy and always want more and it's not healthy and it has to STOP!! I'll let you know how it all pans out. Wish me luck and good luck to all fellow CDers!!

This thread is awesome!!!! I haven't read it all yet but I've skipped through and there's so much positive stuff it's great!

I'm Jenny. I've been on CD for 3 weeks now with my third weigh-in tomorrow night. First week I lost 9lbs, 3lbs the second so fingers crossed I'll have topped a stone by tomorrow evening :j I started at 13st 8lbs and would like to get to about 10 and a half.
I have been on sole source from the start, choosing each week 7 porridges - lovely, warm and something a bit more 'chewy' somehow, good for any time of day, 7 shakes - great for taking to mix up at work, and 7 soups. All different flavours but I love the chilli soup and cappuccino shake, with maple syrup porridge and chocolate shake a close second - not mixed I hasten to add!
I had a rotten third day with headache and soooo tired, but after that it's got better and better. I sleep better and fell brighter most of the time. I bought a breath freshener spray to combat any bad breath which I was warned about and keep that with me at all times, just in case. ;)
I find it ok drinking all the water - you have to do it, so I just get on and make sure I've always, or as much as possible anyway, got a glassful beside me.
The only thing I am having problems with is the weekly cost - it's a fair sized chunk out of my wages but hopefully won't have to keep on buying 3 meals a day every week for too much longer.

    Hi
Just wondering if anyone here has done Lighterlife? I've been doing it a few months now, and about to start eating again and am sooo nervous! Anyone got any advice? How much did you lose?

don't know about Lighter Life, but average £2 per product on Cambridge, sachets bit less, bars bit more.
