I'm back, I forgot the thread exsisted. I also seem to loose my way on this forum too.
I too am still on the diet and started it the first week in January again. My first weigh in after Christmas showed a 6lb gain:mad: So since then I have been doing sole source again. The first week in January I weighed 8st 6lbs. On my weigh in on Friday I now weigh 7st 12lbs. So I am now only two pounds away from my first goal weight although, I think I want to go back to my old weight of 7st 7lb. Just a re-cap here I am only 4ft 11ins tall/small:D and am very small boned. (my avatar pic is when I was a little ahem..heavy).
To be honest I should have reached my goal weight a long time ago. I have done badly on the diet this year. My best weight loss in one week this year is 3lb, but one week I stayed the same (I cheated all week) and last week and the week before I only lost 1lb each week! Very bad for the Cambridge diet, although my councellor said that because I do not have much weight to loose now it will come off at a slow pace. Today I will be adding a green/white meal in preperation for my maitenance plan that hopefully is going to start very soon when I have lost the last 5lbs. Normally I just stop the diet and usually put back on about 7lb over the course of a year. But, this time I want to do it all the right way so I can maintain the weight. I have a treadmill at home but never use it!! I must force myself to get on it each day, I'm sure the weight would fall off then and also it would be so much easier to maintain. Perhaps if I ate something like a mars bar for example I could justify it by doing X amount of time on the running machine to burn it off.
How is everyone else doing on the diet...its hard going I know and it also makes you feel you are the only one on it as there is no group meeting like weight watchers IYKWIM.0 -
Hi everyone, I have just had my weigh in for this week. I lost 3lb :j Only 2lb until I reach my goal weight of 7lb 7ozs. Its been a long road and from heaviest to now it has taken on and off three years:mad: All because I gave up smoking and started eating instead! Mind you, I would rather be a non smoker with a bit of weight to loose than a skinny smoker that used to stink like a fag butt;)
Is anyone else still on the diet?0 -
Hi,
I am new to MSE :j I started the Cambridge diet yesterday - I was 13st 5 (was 13st the week before!) and hoping to get to 8-9st (5'3"). Had a huge headache last night, but went out for a birthday and managed to stay on water all nightTrying to take my mind off food - had my lunch (tried the porridge!) at 11, so nothing else now until about 6! Made the kids sausage sandwiches for lunch and my mouth was watering so much and I don't even like sausages! Planning on making them lots of meals I don't really like :A
