Don't know if you have ever heard of Paul McKennas program but I lost over a stone doing it last year until I fell off that wagon.

It is very simple really. Eat consiously and slowly, stop when you are no longer hungry. Theres a couple of other rules but can't remember what they are off the top of my head.
I was brought up with the "don't waste food - think of the starving millions" and I really find it difficult to stop eating when there is something left, especially if it tastes nice!!!!

But this did hit a nerve, and it worked - for a while at least, same old story for me, I got complacent and just sort of drifted off plan.

I'll drop you a pm now.

    All by myself....
Don't wanna be all by myself......

Look I must be feeling crap, I just filled up watching britains got talent!!
I don't even usually watch this sort of crap TV, (maybe thats why)

I'll have to go back to my food !!!!!!

The other thing I don't usually do is watch "live" TV, cos the adverts drive me mad. Why is there so much food on adverts.....it should be banned, especially pizzas, when they lift the slice up aswell and all the cheese goes stringy......I can't even go to bed cos hubby needs picking up, aarrhhh.......

Hi everyone. Blimey there's too much to read since I was last on! I've decided to stick with the 1000 cals and shift a bit more weight. It feels so much better to be able to have a little bit to eat I must say, although it is slower than when you are in ketosis doing 3 or 4lb a week. Currently weigh 10st 13lb which is exactly the target I got to this time last year. This time I won't put it all back on again though.

    Good luck everyone

    Morning all

Well yesterday was my first day on CD and it was absolutely fine!

I am allowed 4 packets a day so I had apple and cinnamon porridge (nice), chocolate mint shake (nice), cappucino shake (too sickly but managed it) and broccoli and cheese soup (nasty fake stilton flavour). and 4 litres of water which was a lot easier than I ahd expected.

I also had 4 litres of water. No headaches or dizziness of nausea or anything else that I was told might happen in first 5 days ish so that's good news for me.

Have made LL (latino loverboy- my OH) hide the scales otherwise I would be jumping on them every second.

My cupboards are full of crisps, chocolates, sweets, gnocchi, pasata, cheese, mayo, pastries and I'm not feeling in the slightest bit tempted. I also went for Chinese with LL yesterday and just had a sparkling water.

It's like something has finally clicked and I know that this is the time it actually had to happen.

So today, just a litre of water so far. I'm finding it helpful to have that as soon as I get up so that's a quarter of it out the way.

Very excited about first weigh in!

    Love Shoes xx
