Thanks Snagpuss, yup CDC said it was just water and that i'll dump it this week. Don't worry about the nuggets love, how about this week you and i really go for it? Another crappy loss this week or no loss at all is really not an option. Ok? x x
You're on!
I promise to try really really hard - it's crazy not to really isn't it when it's sooooo expensive! Seem to forget that when I'm bored and craving unhealthy food though!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

Hi Everyone,
I thought I would join in with this thread if that is o.k. I have been on Cambridge SS for nearly 11 weeks now and have lost 3st 2lb so far.
I keep up with Maz usually on minimins, but have been reading through your thread and it has made me laugh lots, and feel sad at times. I have clearly not read though the whole thing or my electric bill for the laptop would be horrendous!
I am finding it extremely difficult to stay on the straight and narrow at the moment. Had a meal out for a friends 40th a couple of weeks ago and it was so damn tasty! Just made me remember how much I love yummy food.
I am doing an 810 week next week, and finding the whole prospect quite terrifying. I am 8lb off first goal (12st) and hoping to continue now and try to get to 11st. The Count210 name is not a size 10, but patience thing!
Was wondering if anyone else has done an 810 week and how they coped? Really want to go out a couple of nights as have felt quite a recluse since I started CD, but as I am veggie, a chicken salad is not an option and not many restaurants do quorn or cottage cheese. I did think a Chinese might be o.k if I steered clear of rice and ate tofu and veg stuff?
Your help/ideas would be gratefully received!

Hi MissShoes - its hard work but definitely works.
Coming on here definitely has helped me a lot.
Oh Bounce, don't get upset. Stay good and you will lose big next week.
Snags, I hate having to cook for the kids, I've been to the shops today and bought Mike stuff I can't stand, sausage rolls, meatballs and the like. I've been drooling over his chicken dippers and fish fingers all week. Last night he didnt finish his beans and chips and I had to beat myself to not finish them off!
Hi PAP got my fingers crossed for you for tomorrow!!
Oh Dear Princess. Thats strange, Ive never heard of someone getting mouth ulcers from Cambridge. Has anyone else?, there are a lot of misconceptions about VLCD's and loads of docs just go for the eat less and exercise more approach, which is what we all know. We aren't doing Cambridge for fun.
Personally I've found CD good for my "complaints". My excema has cleared up an awful lot. My back and hips dont hurt aywhere near as much as they used too.
I'm probably not the best for advice for being good - well i'm good for advice, just not good at sticking too it!! But I can tell you the secret of my success this time is everyone on here, helping when you are down and cheering you on when you do well.
I would recommend finding a diet plan, if you are struggling with controlling your eating you need a plan to follow, and keep on talking to us, tell us about your good days and your bad days (maybe not what you actually are having to eat!!) and your losses, we all have the same goals.0 -

Wow you are doing well, I think at the rate you are going you should be going for the size 10.
I havent managed to get to having to do an 810 week....my best runs only been 14:eek:. Its a great idea to treat yourself on your 810 week with a couple of meals out, stir fried veg I would imagine would be OK and that sort of thing, just watch out for sauces. These days you get some good restaurants that specialise in Vegi stuff, with loads of places having menus on line. Mind you that could be a bit tortuous couldn't it.
Be a bit like my watching food !!!!!! on TV.......
Well I hope you stick with us and help keep me going as long and as well as you have.
I am having a sh1te day today, have a headache, and since the minute I woke up this morning have wanted food, any food. Have tried keeping busy all day, but have given up now, havent given in yet but I am seriously struggling. (and everyones gone out, even son has gone for a sleepover and I want something to eat:mad:)0 -

Princess, don't miss breakkie to save cals. It will make you get more and more hungry and by the time to you get to lunchtime you will totally overeat because you are starving.
Porridge is one of the best breakfasts if you like it. Unfortuately I only like it made with milk and cream and golden syrup!!!!
Did you know that the best way to eat is little and often. A friend of mine is a very skinny mini and eats every couple of hours.
Try having some fruit and yoghurt for breakfast, then about an hour before you are due to have lunch another low cal snack. It takes the edge off your hunger and you will find it much much easier to control the amount you eat.0
