Its daft though, if you were to email me to say you couldn't come for a while I'd email you straight back, to check you were OK, to warn to be good on "real" food in the meantime so you don't end up back where you started or worse, and to tell you to keep in touch.
As you say, by ignoring you, you won't go back, and when you talk to other people, you will say, the diets good, it works but don't go to her.
Word of mouth is a powerful thing and shouldn't be underestimated.
You are well rid I think spud - do you have an alternative though. Thats Maz's problem, she dosent have anywhere else to go.0 -
Sorry, dont know why that went bold.
Currently working at home, my laptop wont connect to anything except work. And sons wont connect to work, so have two of them open on the kitchen table at the mo.0 -
Dunc, I actually explained my reasons for not going, but she's obviously not bothered is she. Only in it for the sales. I've had a few people ask for her details recently, so I'll make sure I tell em to find someone else.
There are a couple more CDCs within 10 miles or so, not hugely convenient, but she wasnt THAT convenient either. She was closer, but had to go through the town centre and out again to get there. Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Hiya,
CDC popped the info in to me today, I was out so didn't get to meet her.
Can I ask, did you all start on SS or SS+?
Realistically, how hard was the beginning, on just 3 shakes a day? I have visions of me eating my dog.0 -
I didnt like our first at all!! the second one is great except for the changing appt at the last second and leaving us with two days where we had no CD products at allIf you dont know where you are going... Any road will take you there :rotfl:0
-
Well stick with us spud, we will keep you going during your "break"
Only please don't tell me what you are having to eat each day, number of calories or fat gms will do!!!0 -
Jen its hard. in struggled with it but funnily now i am going SS and finding it quite easy since i moved down from SS+ (which a bit of protien) so if you really sturggle then do that and move down?If you dont know where you are going... Any road will take you there :rotfl:0

Jen, I started on SS, and apart from a headache on day 2 I didnt have any problems at all. In fact I never felt hungry on CD, but I think others have.Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

In the beginning Jen, I found it not a bother.
Was all revved up ready to go for it.
Its later when I get complacent I start to struggle.
There is a tendancy to start on a Monday. This time I started on a Friday.
It has worked better for me by about the third / fourth day, you will feel quite lousy as you go through the carb withdrawal, by the Monday I was starting to find myself feeling better and it was easier to do while I was at work.
So its all in the mind whenever you start, but by starting over the weekend, and crushing that weekend drink/ food temptation it did motivate me bit better.
I started on SS and completed 14 days 100%, before it all started to fall apart.........
My top tip for new starters is.... If you already drink tea coffee caffiene of any kind. Don't give it up cold turkey.
Caffiene withdrawal is vicious and leaves you with debilitating headaches, much worse than carb withdrawal.
Try taking it black for a few days, its surprising how easily you get used to it. I can't drink coffee with milk anymore since Rosemary Conley, about 12 years ago.......but thats another story.0
