Yes, I'm planning a bath tonight, going to but a nice trashy magazine to read while I wallow:p Until then, I am off to work - at least that will keep my mind off food - I hope!!0 -
Hey all, just got back from my WI 4 - another 3 lbs off! Yay! And now it's the re-feed week so I can have a small meal every night.
Here's my stats
Week 1 - 9lbs
Week 2 - 5lbs
Week 3 - 1 lbs
Week 4 - 3lbs
Total for weeks 1-4 = 19lbs!
I hear I'll only prob lose a pound next week but it'll speed up the week after. I have about another 20lbs to lose and I know this diet can help me achieve this. Ok, so I'm not losing as fast as others but I do really struggle to lose weight and 20lbs in four weeks is AMAZING!
Sounds like everyone is feeling positive - let's all stay strong over the weekend! x0 -
Morning All - bit late today as very hectic at work. 2 days out of the office seems to take a week to catch up:mad:.
Well 2.8lbs off from the 3 I put on, so not bad at all, 3 days to shift a couple more so I can record a loss for the week. Keeping fingers and toes crossed.
Cider - 4lbs, well done. And 11 ", :TI only started measuring last Friday so tonight will be my first "Measure In", probably not going to be brill after 2 days off, but got to keep it up to stay on track.
Nara, I am doing a daily WI and think I will have to forever, when I go off plan I have a tendancy to ignore the scales, and manage to add stones. Hopefully a daily weigh will keep nagging at me to stay on track. I've stuck a chart up on the bathroom wall that I fill in every morning, (which reminds me, I will have to hide it when my son has his sleepover - don't need a load of 10yo examing my weight struggles;))
Kitti, Well done on ignoring those crisps, I dont even like crisps but everything suddenly screams eat me when you have been doing this diet. You did good Kitti:)
Piratess, Day 33, can you believe how fast it has gone. Every day is another half pound off. I am glad you are going to try and stay in caring, there arent enough good ones about. Hope you arm gets better soon, and your pingy muscle unpings.
Stokegal - Dublin sounds fun, (but expensive), and it didn't do too much damage by the sounds of things, 4lbs off:T:TFantastic. Hope my 2 days off dosent cause too much damage over the week.
Skint - thats the hardest bit, you dont feel hungry, just an overwhelming urge to taste something. Watching TV is the worst you suddenly realise how many adverts there are for food. If you have sky+, tape everything first then you can skip through all the adverts. Baths are good, I usually take a good book and a bottle of red. Have switched the red for a bottle of sparkly water, take a book and light some candles and incense sticks, family is banned, (Son has a tendency to want to sit on the loo having a number 2 chatting to me - spoils the mood a little).
Did you get a yellow booklet. If you really really feel an overwhelming urge, have a look at the SS+ options, a small can of tuna and a bit of green salad won't knock you out of ketosis, but may help if you are really feeling desparate.
Bye for now0 -

Yum...now I'm craving tuna
(not really, but handy to know that I could have that if I have to eat for painkiller reasons in future, we have loads of tuna in the cupboards).
I did another 1lb this morning, woo hooI've now lost 10lb since Monday morning, and am feeling all perky and wonderful, so am guessing I've now hit ketosis. Phew!
We've got a friend and her kids coming down for the weekend, but I will be able to be fine as my friend is lovely and supportive and the kids won't notice or care that I'm not eating 'real' food with them, it'll mean more pizza and icecream for them after all.
Planning on having another sauna at lunchtime, I have a swimming pass that allows me to use the sauna/steam/jacuzzi as well as flop around in the water! Going to spend £80 tonight on a swimming pass for DD, initially I was thinking eeek, that's so expensive, but really, it's only £10 more than a week's LL, so really it's pretty cheap0 -
hiya guys
Fleeting visit again busy busySooooo lacking enthusiasm today for some reason, am shattered after an extremely busy week at work, and still have a hideous week next week....5 12 hour shift days due to training in my second job
definately going to be struggling next week !!
Still I only have 28 days until I'm off out with the girlies for my birthday and the night off, although being as good as possible"HOPING" for another 1 - 1 1/2 stones by then fingers crossed !!!
Am off out in a couple of weeks, was OK with that, driving and stuff, but found out this week its fancy dress  now ordinarily i'm the first one to suggest fancy dress but it just doesn't seem the same when your driving....going to be good and drive, and maybe just go for ganster moll type outfit...can get away with black trousers and shirt and just buy the hat and a few accessories.....not like fully blown fancy dress that way :rotfl::rotfl:
WI no. 5 tomorrow....heres hoping its a good one to keep me motivated :cool:0
