Stokey - love the trousers idea! Mr A value is pretty tight I find myself, so don't beat yourself up hon. A size 10, wow.....you'll be there before you know it!

Woo hoo!! I lost 2lb yesterday, 12lb since Monday morning, can I make it a stone by Monday? I'm really starting to notice the difference in my body, my collar bones and hips are starting to emerge through the lard that is my body again. Phew!

My friend has cancelled this weekend as she forgot her DD was invited to a sleepover, bit of a blessing in disguise as it'll save me money buying food that they like (bit more fussy eaters than us), and I'll be less 'tempted' to think s*d it.

DD has a nasty cold and ear ache anyway, so we're having a pyjama day. Just need to remember to drink plenty of water!!

    Hi all :hello:

Well I've been very busy today - dropped DS off at my dads so he could hve grandad time, then went to boots and treated myself to some more Soap & Glory Firminator (currently 1/3 off) and then bought a large bottle of bio-oil as I've noticed that as I've lost weigh my stretch marks appear more apparent - don't know if that's true or I've just not noticed them as much before because I never looked at my belly, well they're still red (I think that means that I still have chance to get rid of some of them) Then returned home and wallppered a "feature"wall in the living room, gold, olive and cream horizontal stripes (It looks nicer than it sounds - honest!!) well after doing that I've just realised I haven't had a shake yet and not feeling very hungry either, I can't believeit - I don't think I've even missed a meal before :p

And as for the trousers - I avoided the funny looks by going through the self serve checkouts, lol

    Happy Cambridging everyone!

Good - I am very glad to hear that!
How have you found the real world with no CD? I really need to get away from this eating everything in sight attitude before I get to target. Just dont do too well on my own at all.

Super busy in work, and need to get my water up, had gallons of black coffee but no water yet - better get my skates on or Ill be on the loo all night.

Hi duncan, truthfully I hated it! Just having to 'think' about my next meal was hard enough :rotfl: When on CD I either stand 3 packets/2 + tetra on my desk and then have them untill they are gone. Obviously you cant put fresh food on your desk :o Hence I seemed to slip meals or totally forget to eat one day untill 10pm! The only days that I seemed to remember to eat was while at work as I have a routine. I think re-feed will be even worse than I thought!

:rotfl: Duncan, hope you got there. I gave up the water when off the diet and its hard getting it all back in. However my green tea didnt lapse :D

 Dont buy the origianl bio-oil... Morrisons do one called rescue oil for £3.00 and sometimes you can pick them up in poundworld. Stick it in your bath as well as rubbing in straight on. It does work :T

So day two for me, just (well 2 hours ago) went for a run and even though I had my shake after I am feeling a little wobbly so just cooking my SS+ meal. The deal is I have a SS+ meal/810 meal after excercising so I don't get dehydrated and then start gulping the water. Working so far, day two, two workouts complete and no side effects yet :D Dont know if I will drop down to SS or have just SS on my rest days but I am just going to listen to my body and take it from there. Body fat % is now being measured alongside weight so looking for improvements on there instead of the scale now :T

Keep plodding on, the end may seem a million miles away just now but enjoy the journey and it will come around in no time

Oh Piratess, don't beat yourself up, yes, it was a lapse but hey, it was a small piece of pizza (singluar), a piece of garlic bread (again singular) and a handful of chocolate raisins...........

Think of the words in bold, it could have been much worse and if it was me doing the lapse, it would have been! ;)

Pick yourself up, dust yourself down and get back on the waggon :) You can do it, we're all behind you, willing you on.

I'm worried that I might fall off as I foolishly carried a poorly DD this evening and now my back is hurting and I feel miserable. So far I've just taken standard painkillers and am hoping they'll do the trick, but am worried that if I do step up a grade, I'll just think s*d it and eat myself into next week.

Think I need to go to bed (with DD) and avoid walking into the kitchen ;) Wish me luck!!

Piratess don't beat yourself up - it was only a tiny blip and tbh you can't put your entire life on hold for this diet, imo everyone needs planned blips and as long as they are incorperated into your long term goal I can't see the harm - you'd go crazy depriving yourself 24/7 - my next planned blip is in 11 weeks when I go on holiday - I've targeted myself to lose 2 and a half stone by then but then because it's an all inclusive hol - I've allowed (in my spreadsheet thingymebobby) a 7lb gain the following week - I've then altered my target date because of this
  • I fell apart last night and devoured practically everything in the house:( No idea why either which is the worst. Back on it NOW:T Although I started on Wed, Mon is going to be my usual weigh in so I guess I will see tomorrow what, if any, damage has been done.

Oh skinty, sorry to read that :( If it's anything like LL, you will probably find that you have lost no weight this week, as last night will have given your body the opportunity to grab back the glucogen than it thinks it "needs". (I'm sure PAP can explain far more eloquently).

Maybe next time you feel the urge to eat, you could go and run a bath and hide away in the bathroom for a while, or, what I tend to do, go to bed.

Keep strong, you can do it :):)

Well....I managed to get through with ibuprofen so yesterday was 100%, hooray!! Still a bit twingey this morning but much better, so fewer negative thoughts. Also, lost 1lb, so if I can do another by tomorrow morning, that'll be 1 stone in a week!!

Hi there, well i start tomorrow, got all my goodies and just wondered if anyone else was told they can use the water flavourings straight away and that a couple of glasses of pepsi max (in addition to the water) would be fine, and still lose the weight?? Sounds good but i want to lose as much as poss to begin with and so just wondered if anyone else has done this and still lost well?
    :)
