Morning All,
Well back on track again, havent any meetings planned now for a while and next "challenge" will be Sons birthday on the 17th, so no excuses now for a good 100% run.
2 days of "food" resulted in a 3lb gain on my daily weigh, but I am pretty confident that that will go today, and I will have 3 days left to record some loss for the week on Monday.
Well done for starting Skint, its the biggest and most exciting step.
Kitti, sounds like you are doing just fine too, I havent had a sauna for ages, sounds wonderful.
HWGA - Hope you had a good night, like the wardrobe task, its something I need to do, mine is rammed with shed loads of clothes that dont fit and span about 4stones of different weights:rotfl:. Could do with a good sort out into weight order to work my way through. Great idea. Thanks.
Piratess, Good luck on your job hunting, its a shame that your employer dosent value what you do. Will you look to do something similar?
Glad to hear your holiday gain is falling away nicely, you may even have a little loss to report by Monday - keep us posted.
Br33ni, Waiting for your WI news:T You have done really really well so far, non food fun, Thats harder than you think isn't it. Don't know where you live, I live on the Wirral and we have the Chill Factor place in Manchester - not MSE, Welsh mountains to climb - very MSE, paintballing, bowling, Trying to think of Romantic activites??? What about a spa day? Some hotels with gyms offer days which include gym / pool time, lunch and some treatments. You can just miss out the lunch bit. You can even get packages where you stay over.
We quite like walking with the dog and there are lots of books on walks on the Wirral, there will probably be some for where you live too. They just make the walks a bit more interesting and point out bits of stuff that you never knew even though you have lived there for years. You could get one as your Valentines Gift!!
Bye for now0 -
Good Morning all!
Well went to see my CDC this morning and I have lost another 7lb this week :j that is 17 and 3/4 lb's in total!
I am so pleased
Now is going to be the hardest although loosing that much is a motivator, I'm sure it will become harder as the weight loss goes down.
There are some great ideas so far for valentines day.
Duncan, I live in Stratford upon Avon but live between here and Kent as OH lives in Kent till I can move down in the summer. So between here and there I am sure we could find some nice walking spots. We walk the dogs along Camber Sands reguarly which is always nice.
Piratess, At least your not far off your pre holiday weight and a pound will come away so quickly! I like the idea of quadbiking as loved it when I was a kid. I have never heard of GoApe experiance. I'm presuming it's obsticals around tree's or somthing.Which sounds fun.:D
Well I hope eveyone else is keeping well and happy CDing everyone :A0 -

Fantastic Br33ni, and well done, that really is amazing. And yes you are right it does start to get a little harder as the complacency sets in.
You keep up the good work and you will be at target in no time at all.0 -
Great support for each other on here - it's lovely. Well I had my second WI last night and lost 4lbs - add that to last week that's 23lbs in 2 weeks and 11" all over - so although I would have liked it to be more this week, as I'm impatient to get it off again now, I have to be realistic. I'm off out with the girls on Friday night so next week's weightloss will probably be minimal but hey, you have to live too!
Keep forging on everybody!
regards

well its day 2 of SS for me and am now in Ketosis
Have lost 1 and 3/4 pounds overnight
I know its naughty to weigh inbetween weigh ins but its spured me on loadsMad Mum to 3 wonderful children, 2 foster kittens and 2 big fat cats that never made it to a new home!
Aiming to loose 56 pounds this year. Total to date 44.5 pounds 12.5 to go. Slimming World Rocks!0 -
Wow CWR, that's amazing, well done you - and everyone else, we're all going great guns, probably thinking of the lovely summer dresses and swimsuits we need to get into later in the year (eek!!)
I lost another 3lb yesterday, so have now lost 9lb since Monday, my semi-official day 1 - and Monday was bad, so if I'd not immediately fallen off the waggon, I wonder if it would have been more!! Anyway, I'm VERY happy with what I've lost so far0 -

Hello ladies (and gentlemen if there are any)
This thread is buzzing with Cambridge talk now :j Has anyone seen the Cambridge adverts that they have started doing? I thought they never advertised but I saw an advert in a magazine, I think it was Heat or some other trash I tend to read, lol
Well it's was my first WI after the weekend away, and tbh Dublin was far too expensive to try and diet in, 8 euros for a sandwich in a greasy cafe  I did try though my first day I had roast chicken (ate the skin though) Mussels and water, the 2nd day omlette - the 3rd day we were running out of money so it was whatever was cheapest, and you can't go to Dublin without having a Guinness... or 3...
But the result was.... another 4lb off!!!! :T
So that's a total of 19lb in 4 weeks with a couple of blips and a planned blow out weekend. I love this diet, I find it so easy to follow when in ketosis, hopefully thats it now, no more blips until I go holiday in 11 weeks, I've targeted myself to lost another 2 and a half stone before then so it works out at 4lb/week for the next 2 weeks then 3lb/week after.
Hope everyone else is enjoying it s much as I am
