Ahhhh am glad someone else has posted about this, i keep meaning to ask also ! I've got the implant in my arm so not supposed to have my monthlies (haven't had one for over a year) but every couple of weeks i would say (only 4 weeks into it) i've had spotting...not enough to call a 'period' but just some spotting....phew, am not alone0
-
Mmm, piratess I'm on the mini pill so didn't expect to be effected too - but the CDC said it's the body detoxing itself. I used to go out with a tatooist and he didn't tattoo girls if they were on their periods because he said the body cleans itself and the ink could get removed by the body. At the time I thought it was hokum (but didn't tell him!) but there might be something in it?
And I've lost 4.5ins from my waist! Which is fab cos it's now only 30ins!0 -
Isnt it bizzare how subjects like this always take somone to timidly mention it before everyone else starts talking ~hehe~ at least we all know were not alone!
LML i actually feel really bloated and periody like im due on but im on the pill and not due my breakI hope this doesnt effect my loss this week because this morning i got on my scales and they showed a 2lb gain! first time since starting CD has this happened
Hoping to be a thinner me in 2010!0 -
Hey everyone,
Well exams are done for today finnally! yay:j and been busy the last few days revising. One of my friends got on the phone to me last night to have a moan that I hadn't been to the gym and convinced me to go. Thinking I had so much revision to do I had a very , very bad brain wave! all I can say is NEVER try to read on the treadmill!!! Now I'm sure I got your attenssion and a bit of giggle escapes!:rotfl: I have seen so many people read news papers before whilst jogging away and thought, I could do that. Well all was going well untill I lost concentration and Flew off the end! Oh well I gave everyone a laugh in the gym (dare I ever show my face again?lol)
Well It is my seventh day today and been 100% the whole time, I have my W.I in the morning and cant wait to see my total loss! :j
I hope everyone is doing well!:D0 -

Morning Everyone,
Lots of people report changes to their cycle, some people restart periods after years of not having any. I have PCOS and have always been very irregular.
HWGA - I am on my second implant - isnt it great!!
The first 12-18 months I didn't have any bleeding, then it started to spot very lightly then by the time it was due to be changed I was bleeding regularly. People react very differently. I am on my second now, had it changed about 6 months ago and havent had anything. I do like your dress, very rarely buy dresses, but did buy a lovely retro crochet one at Christmas 08 to wear with high boots. Unfortunately couldnt ever find any boots to go round my chunky calves!!! Thats my aim at the mo. I have actually bought some wide leg ones, and never worn them - they are still too tight, I think my feet would fall off if I wore them for any length of time! I think you will be just fine with a 16 in six weeks, you never know it could even be a little loose!
LML - 4.5 inches from your waist - thats a hugh amount :T. I havent measured myself, but I think I might do tonight! Thats a hugh motivation. Thanks for sharing.
Piratess, whats with the sad face! Last night I stood on the scales before I went to bed and it showed 14,12:eek: - this morning 14,6;). You WILL keep losing if you are on a diet like this, Dont be sad..........you are doing great.
Br33ni - First WI - cant wait to hear how well you have done. It keeps us all going hearing about each others WI. Glad your exams are over, and thanks for the smile! I don't think I could read on a treadmill either, I know what you mean though I have seen people doing it. I can just about watch TV!!
KutieKat, hope you are having a good first day:). Some people say its harder to restart than to start the first time. I think its all to do with where your head is at the time. I tried restarting a couple of times last year but I just wasnt in the right frame of mind and couldnt manage more than a couple of days. This time I am feeling pretty determined and you sound as though you are too! Keep in touch and let us know how you are going.
Well - I 'm !!!!!!ed - forgotten my tetras, just checked my drawers for emergency packs and havent got any. No Breakfast and no lunch, I am not happy.... it will be a long day today methinks...
Oohh I had a challenge last night, my son came in from swimming and decided he wanted Jam on toast and bacon butties. You may not know but hot buttered toast is my biggest downfall - I have never yet found a diet that will let me have it, some will let me have the bread and not the butter, others let me have the butter and not the bread.
Well I knew I wasnt going to be tempted with the bread its a complete no no, but did sort of think maybe the end of a piece of bacon would be OK, talked myself into it.
Well I stood at that grill arguing mentally with myself for about 10 mins:o.
Eventually decided against it as I didn't want to have to enter a black mark on my chart and wanted another 100%er.
Phew another 100%er down.
Daily weigh in was one whole lb today, that was good! (even if we are not getting hung up on daily weights)0 -
Hiii can I join this please
Sooo my story is I used to have a great body - honestlylol until I got pregnant and thought 'yay I can eat as much as I want now!' anyway I put on about 4 stone in about 7 months when I was pregnant and haven't been able to shift it since...
tried weight watches... CD a few months ago - lost 9lbs first week but then went to this spa weekend with my friend and never really recovered on the eating / drinking front
At the start of the new year I decided I would be healthy.. I ate lean meat, chicken fish, everything was grilled.. no sauces.. hardly any carbs.. no butter... fresh fruit smoothies.. no alcohol etc etc and week 1 i put on 1lb and week two i put on 3lb!!!! So I thought why bother!!!
I still have tons of CD stuff leftover so I've started again on Monday.. weighed myself today and lost 8lbs so far :O even though it's TOTM as from yesterday
So sorry for the long post and HELLO!!!xx

Ahh great, am glad you all like the dress :j hopefully a 16 may be a little loose but would rather that than trying to squeeze into something too tight which i have done on many occasion !!
I'm loving the implant too, it took a few months to settle down but seems ok, had it in just over a year ! its funny we were just talking at work about things and it got onto monthlies and someone said that she wished she didn't have hers anymore so the fool i am piped up and said i don't have them and explained i had the implant and do you know what the cheeky mare's response was.......why do you have that, you don't have a mani turned around and said just coz i don't have a bf doesn't mean i don't have s*x :rotfl: probably not the best response, but just don't always need reminding i'm single when i don't really want to me
ohhh well roll on loosing the next 4-5 stone, my confidence will be blooming again
Welcome to all the newbees, will will get through the diet togehter, its tough going but love seeing the results on the scales
Duncan - nightmare forgetting your shakes/tetras...definately going to be a long day....try filling up on soda water, always manages to bloat me and stop me feeling hungry !0
