Of course you can Kutie - The more the merrier! I'm a restarter, unfortunately a few times over. Never quite managed to get to target and work my way back up the plans. Thats what I am aiming for this time.
How did you get on last time?0 -
Hi All,
First weigh in today - bit disappointed 4lbs especially as OH on add a meal lost 7lbs:D:mad: - pleased for him but....
Telling myself it wasnt a full week as we were weighed last Wednesday and started Thursday so maybe it will be a good weight loss next week. (And I went out with friends last night and had to eat but got v small portion of chicken salad and drank water so should not have been too bad). mm maybe more than 4 is unrealistic - works out at 1/14 of weight to lose! If it were only another 13 weeks that would be great but I think that is unlikely.
20lbs in 3 weeks is amazing though! And everyone else sounds as if they are doing well too.
Keep going folks - just wish I did not enjoy eating/cooking/food (and wine;)) too much. Guess that's why I have to be on this diet in the first place.

Hey Maggie, 4lbs is fantastic, :Tyou have only been doing it for 5 days, and likely to have been in ketosis for only 1 or 2. Well done, you should do much better over the next week if you stay on track.
With you all the way on the enjoyment of food and definitely the wine.
Sat down tonight to do some work put TV on and the hairy bikers were dishing up the most gorgeous looking roast beef and roast spuds - need to stay away from the food !!!!!! on TV:o
Its what got us into trouble in the first place........0 -
Well done everyone on the great losses! Good week all round. Don't think mine will be too good this week...but not cos I've given in!! Had my Mirena coil changed this week and I feel really bloated and scales not really showing a loss. Don't know if its because of the coil but I'm guessing all the hormones can't be doing me any favours! Any way off to bed...nite nite

Morning All!
Hope you feel better soon Poggy:(.
Day Nine was uneventful, stuck to plan 100%, could have done with some more water really, but did manage the bare minimum.
Cold has pretty much gone now thankfully, just left with a bit of a dry cough and a whopping big cold sore on my top lip:mad:
Feeling pretty good, no major cravings, but that beef looked good last night;) fortunately it was on TV so I couldn't smell it. Daily weigh in showed an overnight loss of 0.6 lbs, so thats pretty much on target.
All going well, Long May it Last:j
Happy CDing everyone.0 -

Morning everyone ... wow ... lots of posts! ...
Ill just say i hope everyone is doing well, there has been some brill losses and everyone seems to be floating along nicelyIm so pleased! ....
Im having a quiet day today, hoping the chap comes from the garage to look at the car before we drive it all the way to cornwall, Im having another 100% day today .. altho i have to admit that i am having a splash of skimmed milk in a cup of tea, I couldnt go any longer without one ! ... is this ok do you think ???Hoping to be a thinner me in 2010!0 -
HWGA - Well done, you are doing so well. It does slow down after the first week or two but averages about 1 stone a month so you should expect 3-4 lbs a week which is pretty good.
Piratess - Many people report very similar losses on SS+ as SS, SS+ has a skimmed milk allowance. I dont think it will do you or your losses any harm at all.
Have you tried any of the herbal/fruit/green tea's, I have finished off a box of Blackcurrant and ginger, this isnt strictly allowed due to citric acid content, and have started on a box of Green - Green Tea is allowed - Green is an aquired taste, it is unlikely that you will like it at first, but is said to have some fantastic health properties, lots of antioxidants try googling it to find out more.0 -
Hi all
Had my third wi this morning and lost 1lb but the weigh in was two days early so whilst not estactic I'm pleased it's still a loss. It's 35 days until my next dress fitting were they make a mock up of the dress in cotton and I would like to have lost another stone by then. In fairness I will be very very happy if I can get married at 1.5 stone less then I am now. Lots of people are noticing the difference (15lbs in 3 weeks) and I hope everyone else is getting lots of compliments too.
My CDC also told my about the 'detox bleed' us ladies get whilst on this diet. It's like a normal period x10, I wouldn't have believed her except I came on in my first week and it lasted ages (sorry if tmi). She says it normally happen on your second one into the diet so I'm not exactly looking forward to two weeks time. However forewarned is forearmed so I'm sharing the knowledge as I'd made a pact with myself that if I had another heavy period I was off to the doctors for a checkup.
To the new starters, for me this third week is when I started to feel normal again. I'm sleeping better, not missing food so much, generally happier and I have a bit more energy. I'm still cold all the time (something to do with the liver burning fat/protein not carbs apparently) but I'll take this over some of the other side effects!0 -
Oooo LML how interesting, I havnt had a bleed as you describe im on the pill but i have had a slight spotting! (TMI) ... so maybe thats it .. as i never have a problem usually
well done LML On your loss as you say it is a loss, have u been measuring also? that coul show some inches gone?Hoping to be a thinner me in 2010!0
