Obviously the weight loss won't stay anywhere near like that, but does anyone know what the average weight loss per week is meant to be?? i've got approximately 70lbs  to go at least....just wondeering roughly how long it will take.... i've got a couple of evenings in March, my birthday being one, and off to see Peter Andre....:o more a case of keeping a friend company of course lol, but am going to see how I am come my birthday, if I'm still on a roll i may have a 'birthday' celebration later in the year when am at goal !!! hwga - blimey:j:j:j fab loss, bet thats keeping you going! Well done to you (wish I could put little gold stars on here!)
Pap you are doing so well girl, it does kinda help to see those numbers written down doesn't it?
Had a thought, given that on SS+ can have the bit of veg, what about making a sauce with the bouillon powder and blitzing the veggies, like a really thick soup? Any one think this would work? and can we?

piratess ~ I hope your first weigh-in goes well. regarding your CDC it could be that deliverys were behind. I guess you should give it a few weeks ebfore swapping but if you feel you need a change do it! This diet is hard enough without dreading weigh-in or not clicking with your CDC. I was very fortunate as my first CDC was amazing
She then quit so I went to someone else and she was dreadfull, so I then went to my old CDC's sponsor and havent looked back. She is very relaxed and is just happy to help people. Plus CD is her 'main' job so she has lots of customers (3 full days) so she has piles and piles of stock. The only thing that is touch and go is strawberry tetras because she has a lady that has only them each week :rotfl: Either way think about yoruself and your journey
go pink Piratess, woo hoo. The energy thing is strange, I got it first of all then lost it for months now I have it again. I guess its different for everyone. Ketosis is such a complex medical/hormonal thing that everyone reacts differently. I hope you get the energy rush soon. Its like being your normal self but feeling like you have just got up, all day long :rotfl:
HWGA ~ Your first week is always the biggest because you are losing/balancing yoru water out. However generally its 4lb a week on SS. Although some CDC's say a stone a month. It depends though because of periods/water retention etc. I average about 3lb a week then once a month I will lose 8lbs+. Thats how my body works and its due to PCOS too so I just take it as that. Once you have done 4 weeks you can see what your losses are like and plan etc.
On your birthday why not plan to have a SS+ meal if you want. Thats what I did on something i couldnt avoid. Worked well. Also you say in 11 weeks you 'have' to eat. Well on SS you have to jump to 810 on week 12 because of goverment NICE guidlines (They state you can only do a VLCD for 12 weeks) so you can incoperate that into that week. This will then mean you wont havea smaller loss for two weeks, only the one :T
hunbun ~ :staradmin Gold stars :T If you click more at the bottom of the smilies there are stars there
Regarding the numbers yes/no. I dont want to get hung up on the scales so thats why I work with lbs ratehr than stone, it also helps me visulise flour/sugar etc. Seeing my latest pics are the biggest, I have them printed before/now and stuck on my wall, oh and on my ipod. Thats the biggest motivation. Oh and feeling my collor/back bones but thats prob weird :rotfl:
Ohhh yes make soup, I have done it :T If you use the same amount as stuff you would have on a plate its fine. I just mesured it all out (chicken, broccoli and leak) then make a soup. I dont like the CD soups so this was a welcomed change. If you want to sub the chicken with more veg I dont see why not but I am unsure of quanitys etc
Sorry another essay ~ Gah :mad:

Hi everyone :hello:
Glad to hear eveyone is having such fabby days. Herewegoagain - how amazing are you 11lbs :T:T:T:T I hope you have a good WI too Piratess - you really deserve it after all you've been through this week. I don't get weighed until Wednesday but I'm guessing tht it's not going to be as big as I would like as I still dont drink enough water. I took 3 litre bottles of water to work today and placed them on my desk so that I could see how I was getting on throughout the day... as I wasn't doing very well I started avoiding my desk later on in the day, lol so I'm about 1 1/4 a litre down and am REFUSING to go to bed this evening until I have cracked it. My stomach is having grumbly day today and keeps on sending thoughts on cheese on toast to my brain but I'm fighting them away
I've updated the 7 day challenge (see below) can't wait to see all those smily faces tomorrow

Can I ask a quick question please? Is there a cheap make of the meal replacement soups? Something I could buy in a supermarket?
I want to try CD but I've never done anything like it before. I don't want to waste alot of money on a diet that I can't keep up. I'm a real food lover so i'm not sure about a liquid diet. I've got some protein shakes to try to see how I get on with them.
Also I've seen some 'Lighter' meal replacement plans on Ebay, where they have sourced an equivalent bar, soup and granola. Has anyone seen any of those? I know this is a CD thread, but I am a true MSE so please bear with meThank you.
