I'm pretty sure that you can use the veg bouillon on the chicken - I cook in it! Hope you can do that or I've been going wrong for the last couple of months!
I might have a go on the wiii later, just don't want any body to know what I weigh:o, does it store it and can anybody see it......
Piratess I would definately give your cdc a ring and ask her advice. But so long as the numbers are going in the right direction on yours, keep up the good work!
Stokegal - when is your weigh in? Has it felt like a really long week or gone quick? Dont forget your water;) - its a sure way to constipation:eek::eek:
Off for a peppermint tea - mmmmm xxxxxxx0 -
Ooooo now a challenge! i am definatly up for one starting tomorow !!!!!!!!!! ..
Day 8 tomorow hehe .. how cool is that ... only 11 more weeks to go of SS haha .. i laff in its face! .. ~oh cant ya tell im in a good mood lol~Hoping to be a thinner me in 2010!0 -
hi considering doing the cd as im getting married in october and have about 5 stone to lose, just fed up with people thinking because im a size 18 that i live on junk food x
wanting to start running again think this might just kick start me?
is it ok?
and how much is it ?0 -
Glad you're feeling better Piratess - have your headaches gone now? I wish I'd only got 11 weeks to go but I know I'll not be at my goal until November at the earliest. I'm aiming for the 4th November so that the next time I go fancy dress shopping I'm not restricted to the 1 large ladies fancy dress hire shop in Stoke
Hunbun - my weigh in is next Wednesday - which seems like really far away, I originally got weighed last Tuesday but Wednesday's work better for me so I'm changing, this week has gone fast but it seems like ges until I weighed again. On the wii fit it does record your weight but you can put a password on it so nobody else can access it - when I have my weigh in on the wii fit I make OH go upstairs, lol Oh and ignore whatever weight it says on there, It shows me being 1 and a half stones lighter than I actually am on there and OH is half a stone heavier, I think it makes up random numbers as I managed to lose 8lbs in 20 minutes when I weighed myself twice in one day
I'm hopin to lose at least 7lbs for my first week but I know it's going to be my water consumption that lets me down. I've drank a litre and a quarter so far which seems bad but I've gone from drinking nothing but fizzy pop to plain water so it's a huge personal achievement. My OH is enjoying me being on this diet as it has completed altered the way we live. I have loads more energy already, I love cooking for him and my son who are both getting fresh home cooked meals everyday instead of the 2 / 3 takeaways / eating out that we were having each week, in fact it was more 3/4 times a week  I'm saving a fortune on being on CD. We're also enjoying simple things like walking into town instead of driving and he's being really supportive - until tonight when he ate the thornton chocolates that I had been given for christmas in front of me
We're having a slobby evening in front of Dancing on Ice - I'll be on the wii fit later when DS is in bed, OH is taking great pleasure in reminding me that I was watching Dancing on Ice last year when I went into labour... all memories of the pain came flooding back

Ooo StokeGal i ment only 11 weeks to go of this 12 week SS thingy before i reasess with the CDC hehe .. Ive got 5 stone to go so wont be finished then
...
Yeah headaches have gonegreat aye! .. hoping thats me in K
I can so understand what you mean about saving money whilst doing CD ! ... I used to nip to tesco during the week for bread milk .. and always come home with "extras" so spending £15 a throw 2-3 times a week plus out weekly takeaway of £25 .. so yep im saving a heapGreat isnt it
....
Hi Historytart .. I know the CDC im with i pay £39 a week for shakes and soups ... i know tetras are slightly more I need to lose 5 stone also, and want it gone before my birthday in May ..
Not sure about the excersize side of things but im sure somone will be able to give you some guidance ...
Im at the end of week one ..Hoping to be a thinner me in 2010!0 -
piratess and stokegal - woo, you two are now super duper motivated. Keep it up you are both going to have fab summers all slinky and confident!
Yup I'm up for a challenge - 100 % for a week .:D:D:D
Historytart - Paps the one to give you the ins and outs of cd, I know there are loads of pages, but if you could sit down with a cup of coffee and scroll through, there is oodles of info (should that be are?)...
Right, I am going to do something that I have never done before. The only other person who knows what I weigh is my cdc., so if I tell you guys I am facing my nightmare head on. I know that I have fairly major body hangups, and I am trying to address those, sooooo..
Original heaviest 15:10
Started doing cd 14:08
Current 12:04 (flippin christmas!!)
Seeing the numbers written down makes me feel quite chuffed:j, my mini goal is to join Pap in the 11's:p.
Thanks for being there peeps. xxxxxxx0 -
Evening all, I am up for the 100% challenge
I do one on my own anyway so putting it here wont be a problem. I have had a woble today and decided to have some cabbage, I am just hoping that and the tea spoon of mint sauce hasnt knocked me out :wall: Shall find out in the morning
Boulion is allowed on your dinner but dont go overboard as the 1tsp rule still applys. Also if you have it on your dinner you then cant have it/fruit water flavourings as wellIf you have too much you have an increased risk of being knocked out of K and feeling hugry
Historytart; you can certainly excercise on CD however the intensity is important. However if you start running before starting CD you may need an extra shake on running days or use a higher plan. This you can talk through with you CDCI know of three runners who have completed CD on the SS programme just using an extra shake on running days. Price range from £35 ~ £40 depending on what you have (bars and tetras are more expensive) and your height
Ohhh copying Hunbun, and if this will help anyone...
Original heaviest pushing 20st
Started doing cd 17st 11lb
Current 12st Official weigh in0 -
WOW ... Hunbun and Pap .. how amazin are you to !!!!!!!!!! ... fantastic ! ..
so maybe i should add mine then! .. and just 100% onto the wagon! altho theres no change as yet lol ....
start weight .. 15.01
so there ya have it..
I havnt had a mail back from my CDC yet
am panicking im not going to get to her tomorow !Hoping to be a thinner me in 2010!0 -
Hey guys
Hope you've all had a good weekend, busy busy board, unfortunately I don't have internet access at home  must look into it this year....
Anyways I had my first WI Saturday....(drum roll pllllsssss) 11lb !!! am b1oody chuffed to pieces !!! I know the first week is always a good one but hopefully had set me on the journey !! Have struggled over the weekend so have had an additional pack each day rather than have chicken etc..... Day 9 for me today !!
I'm confused about the water flavouring....i've had this from day 1, even the last time i started it?? OBviously hasn't affected my weight loss but guess everyone is different ! Heres to another good week hopefuly, i've really struggled but no going back to day 1 !!
57 days to go until my birthday and a 'treat'....:eek:0 -
Piratess, thanks
I hope you have heard from you CDC and weigh-in will be possible. I cant wait to see what you lost

I think having an additional pack is better in some ways. Just because you arnt chewing and getting taht feeling of eating. You are still on the liquid dietYep water flavours (and bars with there small extra carbs) effect everyone in different ways. I am just sating CD guidlines and making sure eveyone knows the possibilites
Sadly I cant have any water flavourings or bars because I get knocked out of ketoisis. Nevermind my CDC says I am a rule to myself anyway :rotfl:
For those that are wondering I am stil in the pink :j Stick wasnt very dark though but thats because last night I had a litre before bed and went to the toliet in the night  Ready for a 100% day today :T No SS+ plus meals here :rotfl:
Take care all :A0
