Hey Here, thanks for posting, actually thats just what ive done is have a nap .. i still feel awful . My head is killing me . Just had some painkillers and topped up my water ..
i feel really not nice ... it feels like somone is squeezing my brain :(

sorry for moaning, but just feel really pants
Hoping to be a thinner me in 2010!
  • It does take a few days to settle into a 'routine' as such....i felt pretty rubbish days 3 -5 to be honest, , I had an awful headache in the back of my eye as well as feeling lethargic..... but am feeling better today, although very tired but think thats the cold, extra walking and having no 'food' in my tummy':o am looking forward to WI and hoping its a good one to keep me motivated and on track....will be gutted if its not great

I seem to struggle with my water at weekends so am going to make sure i carry my 1 litre water bottle with me at all times....with a bit of water flavouring it should hopefully go down a treat !!

am just trying really hard to remain focused and get through each day rather than see the whole picture...but know i'm looking at around 16-17 weeks before maintenance starts....
  • Hi Pap, thanks for your reply to my questions. I really appreciate it. Have decided to do WW until come back from Spain (as do not need to go to meetings and have all stuff I need). I usually lose about a stone with WW in 1st month anyway but then it really slows. So will probably do WW for a month and then move onto CD. Hoping that by cutting down calorie intake now it will ease me into CD (if that is possible).

Good luck to all who are already on their CD journey I shall keep checking this board to see how you are all doing.

    Take care all.

Piratess - I hope you feel better soon, my firend who lost 6 months on CD says that the biggest thing for her was figuring out when to have her shakes so that she never got hunger pangs. I have the smae breaks each day at work and I have tried to put having my shakes in those times and tbh I've not really had any headaches and the hunger pangs are ignorable (I never thought I say that!!) Maybe working out a routine with your shakes could help then if you do get the hunger pangs you can reason with yourself that "It's ok - I'm having a shake in half an hour / hour" and then see how you get on then. I really hope you succeed as your my CD newbie buddy on here and it's nice to have someone who has been on it around the same amount of time

    *Sending you MASSIVE pom poms

BTW - have you recieved your stix yet? Seeing the pink (which will be there) is definately an incentive not to give up.

Herewegoagain - I take a nap too... And tbh I've slept better since I've been on CD than ever before :j As for funny cravings... I was on the motorway and looked out of my car last night and thought that the snow in the field next to me looked all bubbly just like a big fat piece of cheese on toast

Hunbun - :T:T:Tfor your 3lb. There are some lovely clothes about - I go to Egypt in 15 weeks today and would love to have lost 3 stone by then... well if I'm being honest 3 stone 12 but I think that that is pushing it.

PAP - The stick was..... pink :j:j but surprisingly I've been at my most hungriest today and I can tell that it is definately down to the lack of water that I have had - I had twice as much yesterday and was feeling lovely and full all day. Congrats on getting into the 11's - am very jealous as I think I'm now at your starting weight

So today in Stokegal household I had a chocolate shake for breakfast, this was really yummy as I put some ice in my shaker before I left for work at 7am and by 10am just enough ice had ,melted to that I had 227ml of ice cold water, there was also some ice cubes left in it so when I added my chocolate shake and it tasted just like a McDonalds shake and it was lovely and cold. I then had banana shake for dinner made with cold water out of the water dispenser - yuk, yuk, yuk!! It went all warm and tasted powdery. So tonight I'm trying the vegetable soup and may allow myself my emergency shake as a Friday night treat (It's all pyschological though - cause I've said I can have it I wont want it :rotfl:)

I had a sneaky peek at the scales but I don't trust them as they make up numbers dependant on where I stand, which room it's in, whether there is a pigeon on next doors roof, but it did say that I had lost 5lb already :j, hope that 5lb is still gone at my first WI. Also was just wondering when everyone has their WI and what diet they are on?

My next WI is on Wednesday evening and I'm on SS and loving it :D:D

Just finished my vegetable soup... I was full after half a bowl :j and forced the other half down, was a nice surprise that there was tiny pieces of vegetables in it... something that I could chew, lol

Thanks PAP - I'm feeling loads better now, just sick of seeing adverts for KFC, Burger King, M & S food... even the Higglytown Heroes are eating Higgleberries on Playhouse Disney :rotfl:

I haven't cracked though and my emergency shake is still in the freezer. I've just finished my 2 litres, I'm really struggling with my water. My cdc said she would call and when she did I was going to ask her about the water flavourings and swapping the porridges but she hasn't called  - feel like I'm waiting by the phone for a date to call. I'll give her a call tomorrow - just didn't want to disturb her at the weekend when she might be off.

How are you doing today PAP?
