HEREWEGOAGAIN ~ Ahh that seems a good plan. If the worse comes to the worst make sure you can make a last min dash to the shops to grab something. It would seem this is the bit of motivation you need, I wish you luck in the next few weks. Please keep us updated :j
snibbug ~ Hello, glad to see you came back. So glad your first meeting went well. Once you got over that hurdle its a race to the finish then. I remember choc mint too, mmm I may purchase a couple of those next week, they reminded me of mint areos :rotfl: Every scale will be out to some degree so dont worry, my original CDC's was about 4lb out this one is exactly the sameFingers crossed you are in ketosis soon and your first weigh in is fab... good luck :j

I haven't felt hungry yet today, but i have furry teeth already...is that normal?
Oh yes, I am sure its whats in the shakes, but my CDC says not many have this problem. Maybe we are a select few :rotfl: Just keep on brushing.. When I am out of the house for long periods I have a kids brush (half size handle) and a travel size toothpaste tube that I take with me. Its strange but you get used to it
How are you managing the water? Does it feel too much/not enaough? It felt like loads when I first started drinking it all but now I do about 4~5litres a day0 -
Actually i drink a lot of water anyway, so it hasn't been that bad...it's just before bedtime and i am a little hungry, but i am gonna just down half a litre of water and go to bed...that should work! Have also done 2 hours of vigorous tae kwon do tonight so pretty sure i have worked off the shakes! Looking forward to my breakfast shake now lol!
Good tip about the toothbrush, i will have to do that! Thanks0 -
I'm joining the furry teeth club!! Also furry tongue and stinky breath!!! I must be luvverly to be near:D:D.
How are we doing with the challenge folks? All the choccies with their special offers and buy one get as many as you want type deals are around! I have turned into a radish, they have kept me sane (although there are those that would argue that point!).
Saw a couple of friends yesterday who haven't seen for a while and quite enjoyed their reaction!!!! One of the benefits of not telling people is that they aren't looking at you all the time and 'watching'.
Keep going Snibbug, you sound like you like the shakes which has got to be an advantage:T
You back on track Pap after the hols? Hope your stick is pink again:o
Off to shred my iceburg (lettuce!!)....see ya later xxx0 -
Thanks
i have liked all of the shakes i have tried so far...today though i am starving hungry...my stomach hasn't stopped rumbling, i have been drinking loads n loads of water but its not going away...anyone had this? when did it subside?

Afternoon, wow i haven't been on here for absolutely aaages! Started again 5 days ago and sticking to it this time. I lost 3 stone earlier this year and out 1 back on. I'm 14st 6lbs and would really like to be 12st 10lbs by christmas. Is this achievable? I didn't lose it that quickly last time but i did fall off the wagon all the time! How's everybody else getting along? Maz? Pap? x xStill to go: 24lbs:think:0

snibbug ~ Glad the water isnt too much of a problem. It wasnt for me either because I used to drink it loads anyway. Once thing though you say you have been to tae kwon do, please speak to your CDC about this. The only reason is you will effectively be in negative callories  I know some who have an extra shake when they excercise... Please bring it up with your CDC. My rumballing tum went when I hit ketosis, however I do get it bad now and again... part and parcel I am affraid
hunbun :rotfl: at avoiding the chocs. It is the treat time of the year though because you have halloween, bonfire night (toffee apples) then xmas and new year. Its easy when you do CD in the summer as there are no temptations like that. Oh yeah I am well into the challenge, dont think anyone else is doing it though
I have been 100% since 25th :T pink stick on wednesday but havent tested since, I will test again Wednesday maybe before weighin? I am trying to eek out my ketositx though as money is really tight here
bounce ~ OMG you are back :j Really nice to see you and I hope this next phase is perfect for you. I dont know about my goal but they do say 14lbs a month so you could do just under 2stone... But as you know it dependsa how good you are
I am still here, still plodding :j Had a week off while on holiday but back too it now. First big slip of the wagon but then I knew I would do it when i signed up :rotfl: Last 3ish stone to go now... Home straight :j
Maz was maintaining really well. However she wants cosmetic surgery which her doctor wants her to lose the final stone for so I think she will be back on CD for a monthDont know if she is popping in here though...
Good luck with your journey, keep us updatetd :beer:0 -
Hey! Don't think I've been on here before, started CD in June and lost 2 stone, didn't stick to it over summer but managed to stay same, and since september put on loads! I'm now going back to it but must have 2 weeks worth floating around the house so decided to use that up first.
However..... took some to uni with me today and the taste was wrong. They were strawb tetras (I only like tetras) and the aftertaste from a mouthful was really bitter and burny taste on your tongue. They're two months past the best before I noticed, but as it's a best before I didn't think it would matter too much, it's not a use by...
Has anyone had this before? I'm assuming they're off but thought they'd go more off like milk does, not this odd taste.
Don't know how many I'll have left if I throw all the ones past the BB out!!!0 -
