Morning folks
How was the mini weigh in herewegoagain? My 2 days off the wagon were not really bad. Had a few picky things, no bread etc, but a couple of bikkies and chocs. It has proven to me that any deviation from the plan knocks me out of ketosis (have also been drinking tea with milk in, although its strong enough to stand your spoon up in!). The worst thing is that I have now had the taste of it and have been battling to get back into it. Even the days when I have been 100% have been psychologically wobbly. Don't get me wrong, I'm not stopping:o, but I am finding it very hard for some reason. Mind you, for some reason I have got the worst PMS that I have had in as long as I can remember, I am really having to battle with the cravings for chocolate and I feel like I have two rocks attached to my chest!!!
I have gone down a dress size, the theory of 18lbs per size then would tie in. (17lbs last weigh in).
Its 9 weeks on Friday to Christmas Day:D.......anybody on here fancy doing a challenge? Perhaps doing it on a weekly basis of sticking 100% to your plan?
Keep going folks, remember the longest journey starts with a single step.:p0 -
Hiya
Sorry for the late reply, am suffering with man flu....well a head cold and sore throatfeeling pretty lowsy have to admit so am struggling to get the water down, just can't stomach it !!
The mini weigh-in was a disaster ! they had an open day at the place where I was going but was told would be ok for me to pop up between 9-1.30....arrived 9.45, thought would get there before they got too busy, but they were too busy to see me...bit annoyed but hey ho....have proper weigh-in tonight so fingers crossed is ok !
Have decided to revert back from SS+ to SS and just do packs....was conscious of my portion sizes etc, even with salad so think i need to step away from food altogether !!! Really need a few good weeks of weight loss to get me heading in the right direction:D

herewegoagain ~ I hope your weigh in was ok. Good luck with the SS I hope you do well. Think positive and you will get there :j
Hunbun ~at losing a size, thats amazing. You are doing so well...
I am with you or a challenge, we used to do 100% ones before. I need to get back on the wagon. I said I would stick to 810 while on holiday but I never, think nasty carbsI fear I may have put on a few pounds, opps  So I am with you for the 100% for 9 weeks plan. I will be starting tommorow so will be 100% till the 25th December. I am planning to have the 25th as a 810 day and then I am having the 31st off totally as its my birthday :T
So here we go... 100% for 9 weeks :beer:0 -

Hoping to get back on track v. soon0 -
Hi Everyone,
I've been lurking for a week or so now and have decided to sign up - I have my first session with a CDC tonight! ARGH! Have had some hard work trying to persuade hubby that this is worth the money but i guess we'll see after a coiuple of weeks!
So, has anyone got any good tips for a newbie just starting out? I can't believe that i'll not be eating for ages but the i obviously cant trust myself to put the right food in my mouth!
Looking forward to getting to know you all!

kitti ~ So sorry you have fallen off the wagon. I remember you saying before thats thats how you put some of your weight back on. Get yourself back onto the wagon, its hard but as soon as you are on it and past day 3 you will be losing weight again :j
LCS ~ Welcome to the CD thread. Goodluck tonight, I will be thinking of you. It is expensive however taking into account that its hard to make a meal for £1.70 at home (I know some OS do it but I cant) its not too bad. So my top tips...
1) Get throught to day 3.4 with no hicups and you will be sailing away. Day 3/4 are the worst days on this diet but after that its amazing.
2) Use fibre89 (avalible from your CDC) when you start the diet. It helps your bowels and its good to get it in before you start having problems.
3) find someway to measure the amount of water you are consuming. I use a sports bottle that is exactly 500ml then I can track how much I am drinking.
4) Dont scale hop! Yes its nice to see a 1lb/2lb loss everyday but scale hoping isnt a good idea as your scales will no doubt vary from your CDC's.
5) Have ice in your shakes! You need to drink each 'packet' within 15min of mixing. Once its mixed in the hand shaker or a blender it is 'warm' add ice and its perfect to drink.
6) Find distractions/things to do when you get the munchies... Books/baths/internet/crafting/cleaning/games. Anything as long as you dont head for the kitchen.
And finally post on here to update us with your weightloss etc etc. This is a huge sorce of motivation and I an sure everyone will be as supportive as possible if you have a wobble etc...
Good luck :beer:0 -
Welcome home Pap, hope you had a good break. Its easier to not go off plan than to do so and then try and get back into it isn't it!!!! I am ok now, but flippin' heck it has been tough to get back on track. I still haven't told anyone what I'm doing (except those closest too me), and I think its been the best thing. I can say no to stuff when out without getting grilled about 'the diet'. :rotfl:I am stretching my weigh ins out as I think its better for me to almost try and forget about being weighed and concentrate on getting through each day. It is still a battle, and I keep getting funny cravings - does any one else? For example I could murder some baked beans at the moment!!!
I am up for a challenge. I know I will not be able to be 100% totally , so my challenge is to continue doing the best I can and not stop!!!! I am notorious for giving up on things.
Keep up the good work everybody. There is no denying that it is hard, but lets just try to support each other and keep going. xx0
