Well i am back!! We have moved house and life is settling down so i am back on CD. I start today dn feel quietly confident this time. I can do this.

Meeting our new CDC on Tuesdasy next week but i have products left so just bitting the bullet and getting on with it.

_wave__revamp_by_CookiemagiK.gif I dont see any of the old crowd but Hellooooooooo PAPster, how you doing girl?
If you dont know where you are going... Any road will take you there :rotfl:
  • Notakid ~ Fab advice regarding the brocolli/cauli but those that do it please be aware you will be then following the SS+ plan as it has higher callories. It doesnt make that much of a difference but you can lose about a pound or so less over the month than if you were on plan SS. I know someone too who used to post on here who had the ham/chicken thing too but again it depends on your body if that will affect you.

Glad to see you lost some weight on his diet and maintained it :j

Kittikins ~ Fingers crossed for your weighin. I am sure it cant of done that much damage but better than going with no food all day. Good luck...

HEREWEGOAGAIN ~ Sorry you did'nt have a big loss but it would have been the chocs. They would have kicked you out of ketosis so the following 3/4 days you wouldnt have been lossing weight due to being 'starved' to get into ketoisis. Maybe the midweek weigh in is what you need to keep you on track? Good luck for that...

Regarding the evening weigh ins I dont stop/do anything different. I will weigh one week in the morning then the following at night because of my shifts. However I still have nearly all my packs and I keep up with the water, if you want a true reading then you can weigh yourself in the mornings but it should even itself out :D

chattycathy1674 ~ Hey cathy glad to see you are still on the CD wagon. I hope you are enjoying the bars. I cant have them sadly but I dont mind not having them strangely :rotfl:

Alpha ~ Yeah, great to see you back. Nice to hear you have settled in and have decided to get to goal with CD. Is your OH going to complete it too?

I am doing fine thanks for asking :D I have now lost 65lbs  and in the past 7weeks dropped 3 dress sizes (up top) and 2 sizes (down the bottom) :T Still plodding on and getting it done. Off on holiday on monday and its stepping up the plan week to 810 so thats quite nice. I aim to have got to my 100lbs for my birthday and then work up the plans to lose the last stone :j

Please stick around and let use know how you are getting on with your new CDC ts great to see some 'old' faces back :A

    Hi Guys

Weigh in no. 3 yesterday, 3lbs off which considering I had 2 days off the wagon , therefore out of ketosis and then having to get back into it (!), I should be please with. So thats 17lbs so far, pretty chuffed actually.

Pap.....wow, 65lbs so far, you doin' good girl!!!!! Curiosity question, please don't answer if its too personal, but do you find that you 'shrink' at the same rate as losing weight, or does your body sort of catch up? I only ask because you have dropped an amazing 3 dress sizes in 7 weeks. You should be sooooooooo proud of yourself.

Keep up the good work folks. Have a good weekend:beer:

another question....my friend who is following cambridge SS+, shes only got about 1 - 1 1/2 stone to loose, but shes starting having a sugar free jelly every day as well....her weigh-in this week, she lost 5lb !! has anyone else done this or tried it? I thought that it was literally the 3 shakes and small meal with SS+.... guess if it works stick with it !!

    Hi Hunbun

Cheerleader_by_CookiemagiK.gif at your 3lbs of, that is still a good achivement and 1lb more than your average diet loss. So Good for you, just goes to show you can still have a few days off and lose some. But obviously dont make it a regular thing ;)

Regarding you question no I didnt, hence dropping sizes so quickly. I started CD in 20/22 trousers and 20 tops (03/05). I didnt start start dropping sizes properly till I was 45lb down (17/08). I was properly just because the 20 trousers I was wearing at the time had elastic in them and I would just keep pulling them up. Then in week 18 (17/09) I dropped to 18's all over as nothing fit. Come week 20 (30/09) I dropped to 16's all over and then this week, week 22 (14/10) my bottoms are a lose 16 and my tops are now a 14. The only thing I can say has shrink with me is my wrists and my shoulders, altough I have a way to go with those still.

Everyones different though because they say roughly every 18lb is a dress size. However that clearly didnt work with me but my CDC says other clients she sees have been changing like that. I suppose its different body types/shapes too.

You must let us know when you start dropping sizes, that has been the best thing for me. I went shopping this week and tryed on thing off the rails and they fit. I have never in my life been able to do that before. However I hope I dont get addicted to shopping :rotfl:

    Hope that helps :A
  • HUNBUN, the two days off track....how "bad" were you ! I had a blip in my first week of chocolate and it really seemed to affect my weigh-in !
  • Hunbun ~ You cant have tickers on mse unless you post it in everything you post. But you can make a sig with numbers to count you down

~ You must resist the chocolate :rotfl: Next week I am sure you will be losing 4lbs+. I have heard about the jelly thing before and yes it is possible but it depends on the person, and dare I say it if 3 chocs knocked you out I am sure the jelly will too. The jelly isnt sugar free, its raw sugar free but it contains suger subsitutes (aspartamine being the biggest used in western diets/foods), so although it would seem like it cant knock you out it may do. Again try it and see but if you are fine with just the shakes and meal just stick to it. Its only a few months from your life so I would say stick with it 100% and you can have all the jelly you want when you get to goal.

I have now been doing this for 22 weeks so coming close to 6 months and I havent missed anything. Sometimes I would crave stuff but overall I just keep plodding. But then again thats my attitude/will power so it may not work for everyone
  • i am going to resist the chocolate....i have too... i really need/want to loose 2 stone by the Xmas party season  so gonna stick with the SS+. i did wonder about the sugar free jelly, i guess like you say it works with some and not others !! i seem to be ok, its just something will suddely click in my head and i "have" to have chocolate...must resist !!

good luck one and all, heres to a Cambridge weekend !:T
  • Hi everyone _wave__by_elicoronel16.gif
