  • Poggy ~ I hope you had a fab time in florida and had loads of nice food. Lol at the last pizza but eh as long as you are back on it. Good luck in your next chapter!

SC ~ Hehe, come back if you decide to take up CD.

louisa ~ Welcome to mse/Cd thread. I hope you get to your mini goal, its certainly achiveable. good luck and please let us know how weigh in goes.

Chris ~ Woohoo on your weight loss so far thats so amazing! I hope you keep at it and get to goal. I have lost over 3stone now but I still have 4+ to go so maybe we can keep each other going. When I started my journey this thread was buzzing now its trailing off. However my motivation has never really lagged :j

I have come on today really to say I am sat ontop of the world. I have completed 7 days of excercise (only 30min each day but still) so I am really pleased with that. I have been 100% since the 3rd and still not flagging even though I have been offered free donuts and cupcakes today  but best of all today I was told I look really skinny  Yes me the one who used to hide behind her fat and was pushing 20stone. I am overjoyed, of course the clothes I had to wear (new work uniform) were more flattering (I wear baggy stuff etc) as they were tailored so that helped but its still a confidence boost. I cant believe people said I was skinny and still have 4 stone to lose :D

Anyways keep going all, it will change your life :j

Wow Cherry 8lb is amazing for your first weigh in :j Keep strong, just think of the set back that pizza will cause and you wont have it. Also glug the water to cure the cravings. It is super hard though but keep going :T

Afternoon all, not been on here in aaaaages! All new names to me! Nice to see PAP's still here. I haven't disappeared, just been a rough few weeks. Lots of bad stuff happening but happy to say it is all behind me and i am powering ahead with CD. As of today i am 3st lighter and wanted to share it with you all! I never thought i would make it this far, but i am absolutely chuffed to bits! 2 st to go but i am gonna take my time and not stress over every pound, it's coming off slowly but surely and i am happy with that. Hope you are all well, too many pages to look back over but hopefully Maz is still kicking about and all my other pals, big up the facebook crew!! :D

    Take care y'all x x x
    Still to go: 24lbs

I am still here, felt lonely a few weeks ago as everyone left me :( Still going but my journey will prob be the longest of anyone on this thread so its understandable. Weigh in this week isnt till monday night so have to wait a little longer. Otherwise i am doing fabby, 100% since the 3rd, woo hoo :j

who was the CDer who has PCOS? i remember it being mentioned?

I am back on CD as of today since i have been recently diganosed with PCOS, a bit crushed as one of my lovely symptoms is that my lovely lovely hair is coming out in fistfuls :(
my totm has been awful (6mnths) i thought it was the CD but app it wasnt :D and i remember it bieng mentioed that the lady with PCOS on here has had regular periods from the CD? hopefully it will help me do the same

It should help my motivation too as all my horrible symptoms are meant to decrease with weightloss... again is this true?

sorry that i cant remember who it was.

    welcome new bodies :D

    Hi Everyone,
Back from Hols and not quite ready to get back on CD. Have a meeting on Tuesday where will have to eat and a wedding on Friday so planning on cutting back this week for the big start back next week

Hope everyones fine and dandy, I had a fab holiday, made the most of the all inclusive I'm afraid and managed to find about 11lb all in all.
Not going to complain though, throughly enjoyed every minute.

Hi Alf, how are you doing. I have PCOS and Pap does too.
PCOS does make you prone to weight gain, but you are right the symptoms are said to get better if you maintain a stable healthy weight. I have the implanon implant, had it now for 3 and a bit years and have found it has stablised many of my symptoms. Its not for everyone though.
    Are you back on SS?

Papster - well done on you being so skinny. You have done so well, through all the ups and downs Keep up the good work!!

Well better do a bit of work, will check in later on.

    Helloooo Duncs

Yes back on SS as of today in fact. had a bit of a job change... and we are moving to Cornwall in a few weeks. Sorry if old news but i cant remember last time i poked my face in here, not fair seeng as i wasnt even on the diet. But i am now. got two weeks worth of products then will have to find a CDC down there.

I had the depo which i believe is the same as the implant (although administered diff of course) and it made me gain weight :(

so back on the wagon, MrAlpha is away for the week already in Cornwall so doggies and I have house to oursleves, no food in house plus lots of walks. should be just fine.
If you dont know where you are going... Any road will take you there :rotfl:
