Cherry, ohhh not too much then. Just think you could be done and through maintance within 4 month... Just for xmas and your wedding. Good luck with it all.
Hi Lisa, glad you are still Cd'ing :j You are doing fantastic, congrats to you. I must say I read minimins but I havnt registered. Its a fab site
Hi Lp, glad you are also still Cd'ing good luck when you face maintance plan, I am sure you will be fine
Well today is day 4 of my 100% challenge and I am doing fabby. Started introducing excercise now so walking home from work (3.4miles) and dusting off my excercise dvds and I feel much better for it. It certainly helps my mood anyways. Addicted to CD 'ice cream' just now and will have two a day usually. Problem is I cant produce ice cubes fast enough :rotfl: Worked out that it will take me to December to reach goal and thats a tad too long for me so thats given me more motivation to stick to it 100% hopefully I can make that into November instead.
Hope everyone else is doing well :j0 -
Posting I just freeze the tetra's. Maintanence scares me because its food again. I coped with my 810 week ok because i knew i was stepping down but this is now forever so it is scaryMF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000

Hi Lp, I did try the fozen tetras once and hated it. But then again I dont like the tetras at all and use them as a necessity rather than a 'meal' like I class my shakes. But I have the ice cubes and ice cream making down to a fine art now, although my blender doesnt always play nice :rotfl:
Day 6 of 100% today and so far its far too plain sailing for me, but it is helping. Yesterday I did my excercise dvd and it was brill and so much easier. Last time I did it was way before CD when I was over 4stone more than I am nowI have decided to do it each day now and plus I have to start walking to work so hopefully this excercise will help with my weightloss :j
Hope you have a great weekend0 -

Thank you Cambridge0 -
:hello:
Newbie here and considering CD'ing - do you HAVE to do the sole source at the beginning? I would prefer to do the two for brekkie and lunch and a small 'proper' meal in the evening otherwise I'd just give up watchng OH eat!
I've got 5/6 stone to lose and getting married next June but want to lose most of the weight this side of Xmas!
Thanks for any advice.

Hi Skinty, wow I remember you for dfw... Anyways no you dont have to do SS you can decided on your plan. The two plans that allow a meal that tend to have quite a large weight loss are SS+ and 810.
SS+ (seeis 3 shakes/soups/porriadge a day plus a 200cal meal. This is small though, you are talking chicken/cod/tofu/quorn/tuna with two teaspoons of selected veg/salad. Its a lovely meal though. You tend to lose half a lb less a week on this that SS.
810 ~ is very much the same, 3 meals plus a exact same meal meal (although larger quantity) and skimmed milk. People say you lose about 2lb a week on this plan.
If you were on SS it averages out at a stone a month so 3/4lb a week. Although everyone varies especially if its totm. You say you cant stand your oh having a meal and not you but if you chosse something like soup/porradge or even a bar (once you are at week three) you can still have that social table time.
I am now on week 14 and just lost 3stone. I have another 5 to go and want that gone by Febuary. However I must say I havent been 100% those weeks. The thing I would say is read everything also check out minimins and research as much as you like before contacting a counseller. I looked into it for 6months before going for it and that was hours of research and reading about meal replacement/vlcd. Also chat to a CDC even if you dont join they welcome any questions.
Also if you have a bmi of over 40 you (personally) will need to visit the doctor with a CD medical form for them acknowledge you are on the diet and for a signature. They cant stop you doing it but some try. Also they may and have been known to charge for this. If you are under 40bmi you can start straight away however your CDC will send a standard letter to your doctor.
Hope thats enough info0 -
I'm back!! Bet you didn't even notice I was gone!! Been to Florida for a fortnight and boy have I gained weight!!! Never mind...worth it! Hope everyone else is doing better than me! Back to SS tomorrow so having a last night of freedom....pizza on the way, bad girl!0
