  • Day 13. Been hungrier this week. How much damage can you do by eating something like a few chips? I am on hols in 2 weeks, will I put back on all my weight by eating carbs again?

    Hello All,

    Am doing the SS+ (day 11 for me today) and I've had a piece of fish and some salad, the weird thing is that I feel really guilty for just eating something I'm allowed to eat!?! hopefully this *new* way of thinking will help me when I'm on the 1500 cals a day programme....

    So, onto the most challenging part - my weekend!

    WE CAN DO THIS EVERYONE : O )

    Wow, lots of new names since I was on here last! Hi Foxy, how are you? I'm 1 lb heavier than target and so happy that I've maintained for weeks. Come on everyone, if I can do it so can you xx

    Hi finchy :D Im pretty good, flat out and have not been on CD for a while (not SS anyway but have slowly been loosing pounds on my own which i think is fab), I can get it off and keep it of apparently

    Ive done a ss day today plus five extra hours at work :eek:

    You are doing fab... keep up the good work :D
    If you dont know where you are going... Any road will take you there :rotfl:
  • 2nd weigh in today. Only lost 1lb.Am so disappointed! It's a lot of effort for a measly one pound. Would eating 3 chips do that much damage and I did have two of the bars this week. Please help as I thought the weight would fly off.:( Thanks
  • Hi all, sorry I havent posted in ages, more of that later...

    Cathy, I was over the moon too when I started to feel my collar bones. Not strange at all :D

    Sandie, Well done on your 12lb weightloss to date. Sorry your CDC hasnt got much faith in you. I hope you didnt have any curry and chips...

    Bana, whoop whoop on your weightloss :j 8lb is fab!

    Duncan, thanks for the congrats, still have miles to go though. I hope you have a fab holiday :D

    Bindi, 2.2lb is lest than you would have liked but at least it was a loss. So sorry to hear about your incident in work, I hope the lady is fine. Something like that hits you after the incidednt and I guess before you would have hit the choc eh... _hug__by_bad_blood.gif

    RKD, Ketosis and day 4/5 is different for many people. Some may feel fab and others feel awfull untill well into the diet. I hope you have more motivate and your mood improves soon.

    Alpha, Glad to see you are atempting SS, even having a meal you are going in the right direction :T

    Debbie, so sorry to hear you had a bad loss this week. I dont think the chips would have done it as I have had 2 chips etc before and weigh has still be quite high. I think this was your second week :confused: It may well be the bars because they are high in carbs, your body may just hog and store carbs rather than allowing them to pass through your system. This is the problem I had and therfore never have bars now. Do you have bars for this week? Can you see what the next weigh in says and then go from there? What did your CDC say about the little weigh loss vs the bars?

    ~~~~~~~~~~~
    Ok so I have had my weigh in today and put on a 1lb. This is because I have had a very stressfull week at work and I turned to food most of the week. I was expecting that I emailed my CDC to pre warn her and that's that. I am not dwelling on it and I am now back on 100%. I have decided to do three weeks 100% SS and then weigh in just after August. Thats because I am super busy and I am away at the end of july. I definately think I can do this and it would mean I could lose 12lb in that time period :j
    So here we go guys 100% :beer:
    Hello Everyone, tis Monday again ...
    So, I had my second WI last night (normally Monday nights but CDC has a Docs Appt) and lost 3lbs.... a little disappointed but at least it's a loss (and I popped into the CO-OP and bunched up 6 packets of lard and that's 3lbs so afterwards I was much more pleased with myself!:j
    Has anyone experienced migraines whilst being on this diet? I had one yesterday and whilst it didn't knock me out for the whole day it certainly was painful and knocked me out for a good afternoon. Also, I seem to have enlarged blister type things on the back of my tongue (I think it's a result of the diet) they don't hurt and I only noticed them there when I was brushing my teeth?!
    Any help would be great!
    How is everyone else getting on?
    Well done on the 3lbs. I'm off to WI tonight. Been really good so hope it shows. However don't know how long it will last as have found out I am in a redundancy pool so may not have a job come September so feeling a bit c**p at the moment! Oh well off to Florida on Saturday so that should take my mind off it for a couple of weeks and there's always the lottery!!
    Report back later xx
    Hi Poggy :hello:
    Good luck with your WI tonight.... let us know how it went! so sorry to hear about your job (I've been made redundant twice now in the past few years and it really is true what people say; these things happen for a reason, you never know what's round the corner!) :)
