Pap~How did you get on last night?
Aww you remembered, thanks for asking Beanie :kisses3: Stayed the same this week, we think its because I have been excercising too much  I have been burning 400cal a day without walking so effectively I have been living on a deficient of 100cal. So we 'think' my body has gone into starvation mode *sigh*. So this week (well 6 days) I am walking 3 times a week and completing a workout a max of twice. Hopefully its just a wobble because I am still 100% since 3rd :T Time will tell....0 -

Pap - you've so got the right attitude hun....
and so what if you stayed the same... at the end of the day... you'll still be skinnier at the end of the journey than you were at the start, and the weeks of a gain or stay the same will all be forgotten........I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -

Aww thanks Maz, to be honest this is the only diet that I havent stressed over. I dont know if thats because I have got older and now have a different outlook or just because I am that much lighter and know it can be done? As you say though it will get moving again :j
Hope everyone is ok? Its all gone quiet again0 -
Hello all,
I am looking into starting this diet, I have my local lady phoning me Monday to make an appointment to go down and see her.
From your experiences how easy is it to stick to? (i enjoy snacking on bad things)
Also do you feel hungry for long and how long does it take for your body to adjust before you dont feel hungry?
im worried because my partner does shift work so most of the time i do the cooking for us and my son. if my partners at work and i am cooking for my son. is it easy to resist temptation?
please advise, im hoping i can do this
thank you all kindly x0 -

Hi sexyeyes and welcome to the CD thread.
I will answer your questions but backwards  Do you feel hungry? No is the simple answer. The whole 'goal' of this diet is to get your body into a mild form of ketosis. Once you are into ketosis your body will burn the fat you have stored and use it for energy. When you hit ketosis you never feel hungry (well I never have) as your body is continually getting 'fed'. The meals you have on CD just give you all the nutrients your body need before it goes into deep ketosis/starvation.
For me its really easy to stick to, however my life allows it to be easy. It depends on how much you want to stick to it and if you want to lose the weight or not. Some people fall off the wagon every now and again but of you jump back on you will be fine. Everyones different though so you will have to try it and see.
Regarding meals for your son again its one of those personal things. I work with food and although I am tempted I want this so badly its not worth the biscuit/muffin/food I will cheat on. To knock you out of ketosis it does take a fair amount of food but it depends between people. The only thing you can do is try.
I will warn you though the first 3/4 days are the worst as your body has never been into ketosis before. So you may either want to have meals ready for your son or time it when you partner is home. You may also get headaches and other side effects in the first three days so be ready.
Good luck and let us know how you get on0 -

hiya - sorry i haven't been posting much. I have been dongle-less since friday night and i do feel like a bit of a fraudster coming on here when i'm not doing full on CD....
I am going to weigh myself today on the leisure centre scales so i can get a good idea of where i'm at.... still losing or at least staying the same. Doctors scales said 11st 5 the other day but he did say that they weighed light according to most people...
will report back. Rest assured i am reading and loving the advice you're giving out Pap!!!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0
