Hi guys, so sorry I havnt been around, tbh I have had enough with Cd now... Weighed today (at home) and my scales say I have put on 5lbs get I have been 100% since last Sunday. Getting to the point where I am thinking is it really worth it, for my sanity and the money... Anyways I am still being 100%, all packs have been consumed up until now and water duely drunk :j
Poggy, Fantastic news on the weight loss :T I cant see you being on CD that long this time round, good for you
Cathy, Well done on your loss too 8lb what a fantastic result :j And you have drop a dress size, which I always think is better than losing the lb... Go Girl :A I agree with Duncan with reagrds to the meal thing, you need fit this diet around you, if that measn eating for one day out of the 50 you may be on the diet so be it... dont feel bad about it, embrace the food for one day then jump back on the wagon...
Debbie, I agree with Maz, try and make your shakes 'interesting' either have them as ice shakes (crush loads of ice before adding to your shake made with very little water (maybe 50ml) your blender may not forgive you but the outcome is lush, you can eat it with a spoon), normal shakes, seperate your shakes (so half packets) or do as I do... when you cant stand another shake make it and down it as fast as humanly possible :rotfl:
Bars are reserved for week three because of there higher carb content. However I know someone on mini mins who has had them since week two with no problems. But it does depend on your CDC and your body. I found one bar would kick me out of ketosis because I am very carb sensitiveSo dont be surprised if you cant have them full stop.
Maz and Duncan, just keep swimming0 -
so Pap, are you thinking about stopping?? really???
very strange about the 5lbs up, if you've been 100%, which i know you are, cause you're a saint!
maybe you're due on again as it's been a while...I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -

Maz, I dont think I will stop but we will see what Monday brings (although thats a prob in itself)... I love the results and everything but the whole toilet issue, water being the highlight of your life and the cost is just three big things that make me think why! more than once a day. Its week ten now and I am just a bit blagh :rotfl:
Well thats it but the two weeks previously although I did have crisps and chesse in my first week (100% second week) I still only lost 2lb and the week before 2lb. Like I said to Mum I think this is due to my conditon and I am not being funny but I lost 2lb a week on a calorie controlled diet so why pay £40 a week out for effectively nothing when I can give that £40 to Mum as house keping to cover my monthly food
I know this is a long haul diet with maintanance etc and I signed up thinking I would be on this till at least December... however I wanted to see more drastic weight loss than this. Especially as I am taking such drastc measures. If I take into account the last two weigh ins I need to lose 10lb on weigh in Monday to lose my one stone a month... I can see it myself  I wanted to be in the 14's before I meet you... I have hell of a lot to lose in 2 weeks if I am going to hit that goal...
I dont know regarding totm because I never had any (well 1 when I was 13) before I started CD. So I guess they arent regular anyways
You know when the journey just seems like it will take forever... well my journey just now seems impossible :wall:
*I know I am usally positive so sorry for bring the thread down but I can only share CD related thing here*0 -
oh pap - it is a tough thing to do and we are here to listen, so don't feel you have to be "up" all the time.... you're allowed a bad day and to lose focus sometimes....
Can you honestly say you've lost 30lbs in 2months before now on any diet?
up the water and make sure you are taking your 3 shakes a day between now and mondays weigh in, and you're bound to see some loss.... c'mon girl...!
even if it turns out to be a short burst to the finish line before you sack it in, we'll make sure it's on a high note.... and maybe if it's good enough then you'll carry on.I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Awww pap hun Im so so sorry that you are finding it so hard.

Thanks for all the help guys :j
Maz, Thanks i just dont like coming on the thread moaning as it makes other feel deflated too. I know this journey is hard anyways so having a place like this of offload is fabbyNo I cant say I have lost 28lb on any diet before in 10 weeks but I guess I havent tried anything drastic before. The diet is fab and it certainly works, but obviously not for me, just now  I know I will see an improvement this coming week, I have to I havent cheated once, god help my CDC is I have lost only 2lb or put on! :rotfl: I think I will carry on untill monday and see how I feel
Its a defiante heart vs head decision
Beanie, Thanks hun, just now it is getting really hard. To be honest I have had no joy about my condition with my CDC, I dont even think she has googled itShe isnt very good with suport all around but I dont know if thats me giving the wrong signals or saying the wrong things  It seems to me she moans if I dont lose, says well done if I do and then I pay her, I dont know if everyones CDC is like that
We shall see what Monday brings, if indeed I can go as I dont have my work rota yet...
Thanks so much for the last comment0 -
hiya guys,
just got back from weigh in.
I have lost 3.8lbs and 1" off hips and 0.5" off bust.
For some strange reason, my home scales which normally weigh 4ozs heavier than cdc were showing that I had lost a touch more.(over 4lbs)...but for consistancey sake, Ill go by cdcs.
anyways sun is creeping out behind the rain clouds so heres to a hopefully brighter day. __________________

Thanks guys for your support.Day three today, I did eat a bit of chicken last night so hopefully that will be ok. I will have to try and swop the soups for some more shakes. I like the idea of being able to eat the shake with a spoon. I will try that tonight. I did say I would do ss+ but I have only had chicken one day. No ketois yet though!0

Hi debbie, chicken isnt an 'illegal' food so you should still be heading for ketosis. Shake with a spoon is lush, its like slush puppie :rotfl: Ok its not up everyones ally but it makes a change from sucking it through a straw. Dont worry that you arnt in ketosis yet so people (me included) dont hit ketosis till day 4/5, just keep going and make sure you are having all the water you need :j0
