Evening all, WI 10 for me tomorrow, can't believe i've stuck at it for 10 weeks! Well done Laura on the 7lbs, that's a mahoosive loss! And big big congrats to Maz for getting under the 12. What a milestone! :j

Quick question, is anybody short on shakes and wants to buy some from me? I have loads of surplus, too scared to tell CDC in case she gets angry. I think i just have them from nights i've fallen asleep and forgotten my third shake. There are quite a few banana and i just want rid of them. Any takers? x x
    Still to go: 24lbs

Once you've cleared the first few days you shouldn't feel hungry providing you don't leave too much time in between your packs. You will however crave something to eat, which is a totally different thing to deal with altogether.

    Hi all,

Now on day 10..wooo-hooo! Keeping away from the scales until next Thursday..thats worse than not eating lol!

Duncan- i think you hit the nail on the head re the above quote. I have been wondering if i am still feeling hungry and my tummy def isn't rumbling unless i do leave it too long between shakes. I said to dh earlier that i could easily not have the shakes as i'm just not hungry. Its the smells of food that are hard to resist and i think thats where the cravings come into it. BUT i have stayed 100% and would be really cross with myself if i didn't. Even though i may love the smells i wouldn't give in...100% all the way!!!

Just enjoying my lovely veggies soup!

Pap- i love your posts, always so informative and positive!

  • Evening all!

    Hope everyone is well?

All is well here...Still peeing for England!! Haha!

I've got my first weigh in tomorrow!
It's not quite a week but that's the day my CDC does her visits.....and I didn't start until Mon just gone.

Still feeling very determined. Even went to a local park last night for a brisk walk! Talk about sweating cobs!! lolol

Not felt hungry tummywise but my I've def been hungry brain wise!! Lol..Getting used to reconising real hunger from just wanting to eat something for the sake of eating.
Friday night is takeaway night in our house.....Something I missed tonight!
I had to enjoy the smell of it instead lol...Probably took more notice of the smells than usual....Usually too busy chucking it down my throat I guess!

I've stayed true though. No cheating......When I'm slim and healthy, then is the time for an occasional treat:beer:
Does anyone here post or read in the Minimins forum?

    I'll be back tomorrow! Fingers crossed I'll have a great loss...even if it isn't quite a week.xx.

    Morning all:hello:

How's everyone doing today? It's sunny again here today:j
I went to see Take That last night and they were amazing. The Script were supporting and they were brilliant. Not only that but I went in skinny jeans and a size 12 top!!!! I only ever wear slouch jeans. My dh kept saying how skinny jeans suited me and how thin my legs looked.
I didn't drink enough water yesterday as I didn't want to keep fighting past people to go to the loo at Wembley. I've drunk 1litre this morning already and i'm about to have my first shake of the day.

Good Afternoon! isn't it gorgeous outside?

SEK - I'm so jealous you went to see Take That, I'm sure they were amazing and also v impressed with the size 12 top and skinny jeans. I doubt that even if I get to my target weight I'll be able to wear skinny jeans.

Everyone on here is so friendly, I have a knack for posting and then killing the post! ha ha

I start my CD on Monday, been rapidly cutting down on carbs and eating alot less, really looking forward to it and I'll post again on Monday to tell you how I'm doing :)

Hope everyone has a great weekend!
  • Hi everyone!

Well done SEK! Skinny jeans huh!
I went to see Take That last Sun and they were fab and the Script were excellent!!

Well, I've just had my first weigh in (I'm on day 6).
CDC say's I have lost 8lb! Wooo chuffed! Lol.....
BUT....That's when you work it out in stones & lbs.
When I work it out in just lbs it only gives me a weighloss of 6lbs:confused:
Hmm still good but obviously 8 would be better!!!

Now my head is muddled. Anyone care to try and work it out for me please?
    I started at 16st 2lb (227lbs)
    Weighed in today at 15st 8lb (221lbs)

    Head-Cabbaged lolol

Anyway, swappped my soups for yummy shakes and apple & cinnamon porridge and I'm ready to go!!

    Back later xox
BTW....I've always been tosh at maths lol. but even my CDC was using her fingers to work it out.lol.

Definitely 8lbs! If you are 15 8. But in lbs that is 218 not 221
and 16 2 is 226, I know that because that was my original starting weight! Well done you xx

Hi everyone, glad to read that you are all doing okay. Sorry to read about your news Maz, hope you are okay. I have somehow managed to stay exactly the same, 10st 13lb. Got my daughter's birthday this weekend and have decided that after that I am going to count calories and see if I can get another half stone off. We shall see, but very happy that I have maintained and not eaten it all back on this time. Keep going everyone, am almost missing those shakes!!
