Half a stone is an amazing loss! you should feel very proud of yourself... I'm starting SS+ on Monday and am soooo excited, am gradually trying to cut down on the carbs (as my CDC said this would make it easier for me from Monday) and my other half (bless him) said that he's going to eat round his Mums to take away any temptation for me when I cook him dinner. Mum (who's a Nurse) Dad and Bro are all very supportive. Ooh, I can't wait to feel skinny (note; I know I will NEVER be skinny but I'm aiming for the 'normal' BMI weight for my height) :)
  • Wow I love the fact we are back chatting now :j Makes it so much easier :D Only thing is I cant keep up :rotfl: So from now on if I dont directly address you its not because I am ignoring you its just you dont want an essay to read from me :rotfl:

Sek ~ I agree with everyone else, have a chat with your CDC and see what she says. She has prob seen all these problems before. Maybe if you went upto the 810/1200 plan for a month and see if that helps. I would also share it with yoru docs/consultant, it would help them diagnose you better. Fingers crossed your periods come back. I must add I had 2 when I first started CD (I only had one before in my whole life) and now I ahve stopped, however thats common for me. I can understand how you would be worried ~ Take care of yourself.

Laura ~ Thats amazing for one week you should be so proud. One week I weighed myself in boots and on my own scales and the CDC was very much reduced, I was heart broken. I have never done it again... Dont weigh yourself this week and see what the outcome is :D

    morning fellow Cd-ers!

I am chipper this morning on the diet front as have managed to lose 5lbs this week! woop woop!

    Takes me to......... drumroll please.......

    11st 11lbs! yay me!!

spoke to CDC re my situation and maybe needing all the money i have for the deposit for house etc and said i would let her know week to week basically...

i feel like a right trouble maker where CDC's are confirmed, but she was very nice about it. I said i'd call her to see whether i can come next week... i.e. if i've not given cash for house then i will continue until i do need it. On the otherhand i should really be squirreling some cash away? Oh who knows!

    Hope
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

PAP - mmm.... so do I, will let you know asap.

11.11, wahay Maz, that's absolutley amazing - well done you!!

    Its a toughie Maz.
Although whether you CD or eat there will still be a cost element involved. How many packs to you have a day 3? Don't know what you pay, but say £40. The only other thing you need is water. So your weekly food bill is still only going to be £40 for you. Thats £5.71 a day for you, you probably couldn't get away with much less than that buying "real" food. But you will still need to buy for Erin, which you will need to add on. You may have to give up the luxury of Tetras and get shaking at work - good for those bingo wings though.

The hardest bit is the outlay paying up front, rather than being able to pick up bits and bobs each day. Good luck, hope you manage to sort something out!
