Hi guys..guess what? I'm coming back to join you again and get this last 1 and a half stone off. Have just e mailed a new CDC and hopefully I can get back on the train soon. SW is great but I have maintained for the last 2 weeks and only lost 2 1/2 lbs before that. I need to get all this weight off and then maintain. I've got eating out of my system now so I'm ready to give 100%. So hopefully have good news soon xx0

Hello everyone!
I've been losing 4lb a week most weeks appart from TOTM week when I lost 3lb. 3lb being the least I have lost over the 11 weeks. Having said all this I fear that I am about to S.L.O.W right down now. It's been up and down sometimes I have wanted to throw in the towel but overall you know really you are doing the right thing by sticking to the diet. Obviously I don't need to tell you all that sticking to the diet 100% gives you the maximum loss and I guess it has worked for me.
Unfortuatly I'm not ready to "eat" as I know going back to SS would be an absolute nightmare for me so I am hoping to be at my SS goal of 10.7lb BMI of 25 for me in 9 weeks time (I weigh 12.8lb today) Then I will go up the plans accordingly al lose a further stone (9.7lb) So thats the plan. Don't know if I will make it but I will give it my all thats for sure.
Clothes wise I am a 14 on top can be a 12 depending on what kind of top it is and bottoms I can fit into a 14 but I have a bit of a mufin top so I am still in my 16's untill the muffin isn't so noticable.
Thing is I am still very unhappy about the way I look. Not as bad as I was before but still really unhappy and am chosing to wear bigger clothes because of the lumps and bumps I can see, DH thinks I have lost the plot and am seeing things but on the other hand absolutly NO-ONE has commented on my weightloss. Noone at all. So I am abit sad about that. Sunday I see my father for the first time since I have started CD and he doesn't know about the diet either so I am hoping he will say something. DH tells me that the type of people we know just arn't the kind to comment on weightloss or weight gain. I suppose he's right really.
I've been keeping away from the CD thread on here because of the food mentioned and didn't need the thought of eating the yummy lingering in my mind for the rest of the day.... Sorry.
Lisa.

Good for you Lisa, don't worry about the comments. I think a lot of people don't like to say things , cos it sort of implies that they thought you were fat in the first place. I'm a bit like that myself.
I had a wonderful 100% day yesterday, wahay. And its 3 weeks today till my hols so the countdown is on.......
Oh I cant wait!0 -

Pressed submit before I meant to!

Hi everyone.
hope you are all well. we are on our way to Cornwall for a few days and a funeral for my gran.
Been having some CD products but as you all know i am not on SS or anything. Things at work at tense and i am hopeing Cornwall will make a difference.
I have done no writing for my book or even another article because im just too tired and too busy at work or with other things. maybe that too will change and the change will be the kick in the butt to get back on the CD wagon.If you dont know where you are going... Any road will take you there :rotfl:0 -
Laura ~ You are doping fabby :j dread to think what 4 weeks stash looks like, I can barely manage 2 weeks :rotfl: regarding feeling no different I think it depends on the individual. I felt great for a few weeks but then slumped again. I do have much more energy though which is fabby :j I think as long as you are healthly, having no side effects and losing I think its fine.
Poggy, nice to see you back. You have done so well on SW but I guess you want that extra stone gone now eh. Wont take you long no doubt... Good luck with your 100% you can do it :T
Beanie ~ There are loads of flavours, they can all be found listed here. Its all personal preferance though as Maz loves the choc tetras and I hate them with a passion :rotfl: The pee sticks are simple ketositx (you can buy in pharmacies/pnline) to test to see if you are in ketosis. They arnt really needed though because as long as you follow the diet you should be in ketosis no problem. Some of us though use it as a guide. I will generally test after weigh in and mid week. I know nothing should have changed but its some reassurance for me
Lisa ~ You are doing so well its fabby. Just think in a few weeks you will be on maintance... bet you cant wait eh. I agree with Dun about the comments, maybe people dont want to comment for fear of upsetting you? I remember when a collegue lost about 3 stone and although I told her she looked better... she asked was I really fat before, I had to say yes and tell her how bad (bearing in mind when she was overwight she made out she was a beauty queen). the problem is people dont comment on things like we would like them too. I am different though because I know I was morbidly obese and gross so people can say anything they like and I dont bat an eye lid :rotfl:
Duncan ~ Well done on the 100% thing. I bet you cant wait for your holiday. Have you brought some new clothes? I am meeting the DFW crew the end of july and I am scared :rolleyes: Plus I should get to see the famous Maz. This will be my first 'test'... I am hoping I will be another stone lighter by then :j
bindi ~ Fantastic :j You are great, 5lb is a huge amount. I think because you have done it before thats why you havent lost masses... although 5lb is still fab.
Alpha ~ Well done on attempting to be good while at work. I think your fab at trying even though eating cant be helped. I hope soon you will see major changes.
~~~
So day 3 for 100% and still going well. We went out today and I was tempted at every opportunity but resisted. Its amazing though how subconsciously 'cheap' food is pushed onto us. I dont see it that often but today it was wierd
Anyways in good news I can fit in an 18 bottom (Gerorge) :j I think an inch or two gone would make the fitting better (I like mine baggy anyways) so hopefully when I go back to work I will be in a 18Dont know about my tops but I think 18 will fit but holiding out buying anything just now. Considering I was a 22 bottoms (tight) 2 months before starting the diet I think this is amazing... Next step 16, I can never remember in my life being anything less than an 18 and I was only in 18 when I was in year 7 of high school :rotfl:
Anyways keep pushing on guys :j0 -
Ha, coming towards the end of another easy 100%er:T
Wonder why sometimes it is so easy to stick to this, then other times I just want to eat anything, even carp I don't like.
Didn't manage to fit in my lunchtime shake, so had it when I got home. So still get to have another to go yet, oh the anticipation:rolleyes:.
I havent bought much in the new clothes line. Partly because I can't really afford it at the mo, and partly because last year it was my 40th and I treated myself to quite a lot of holiday clothes that I wouldn't dream of wearing at home. So it would be a little impractical to buy more to keep in the spare wardrobe:o.
I do like a new bikini or two - I know a fat 40 yo, I did say I wasn't going to wear bikinis after 40 - but I have a bit of a bikini fetish. I've been known to spend more on a nice bikinis than I'd spend on normal clothes that you wear all the time. Problem is everywhere I've looked I can't get tops and bottoms in stock to fit.:mad:0 -
Sorry to hear about your Gran Alf.
It all gets a bit much at times dosent it. Especially when you have so much new stuff going on. You've had a pretty busy few months havent you!
You'll get there in the end, take your time and don't try and do to much at once. Make sure you make a bit of time for yourself.0
