  • Thanks Maz, I am over it now I was just a bit shocked on Saturday. However thats behind me now :T Sunday till about midday I was so down (allthough no food was consumed) but after posting I shook myself out of it and I was raring to go. Yesterday I put my shake packets on my desk and I made sure they were gone before 9pm that night and I did it :j Oh and my 3l of water. Today I am down a shake already and have two left on my desk. I will do this.

I have passed on my 'spare' shakes so I no have no reason to relive the last two weeks :j Next weeks are boxed in my cupboard so the blue box I have for my CD has a weeks supply in... if they arnt gone by Sunday night feel free to beat me around the head. Tested the pee stick this morning and not in ketosis ~ surprise surprise :rotfl:

I agree regarding the food comments, I find it so hard on dfw because there is food mentioned but I am getting better :T Hopefully witha more 'active' CD thread I wont be able to cheat/think etc :rotfl:

Good luck getting below 12st... you will be super skinny real soon :j

    Atta girl babes!!

i do find the foodie chat on our other chat thread a bit much sometimes, but it is a major part of life, it certainly was a major part of my life, that's my problem!!!

c'mon folks, come back into the CD thread... the water's lovely!!

:TWow Lisa, well done, I can't believe how well you've done - amazing.

Pap, you b!oody well force yourself to have your 3 a day. You're body will panic and hang on to everything, you really will make yourself poorly. It will affect your losses too.;)

I've run out of tetras for lunch, but still have a stash of packs, so I'm on the shake it all up with half a bottle of water at the moment, wish I was one of you weirdos that likes lumps, although the one I'm having now isn't too bad, Fridays was really Bleugh.

Weekend was mixed, I passed my Timekeepers practical Exam, wahay, but with being out almost all day had nothing to eat, CD or food, ended up grabbing a really bleugh roll at about 7pm.

I think you need to give us all a good bossing Maz, loads of us are falling into the complacency trap. The good weather is a mixed blessing, it makes you want to sit in the sun sipping nice drinks, but we want to get out that super thin Bod so keep at it
  • Thansk Maz, I am getter better on the other thread but it does get a bit much. Although as you say we need food to survive, sometimes I think a ciggarette or drug addiction would have been easier to battle.

Duncan, I know I have posted about itr up there but have you thought about the shakers? I dont know how long the lucozade ones are on offer for in boots but I highly recomend it. To me it tastes simaler except you can still 'taste' the powder but I find it easier having one of them than using a mixer now. I will make one using regular water and then I add ice to the pot (after mixing) to chill the water down. Perfect and it only means I am around temptation (in the kitchen) seconds while grabbing the ice cubes :D

Oh and I saw the change in my losses this week. I wasnt that upset though as I knew it was going to happen. Now I will have my 3 shakes if I am sat here drinking one at 1am in the morning :rotfl:

i feel like in my inbetween CDC's spell when i was being lenient with myself, i've set some bad examples, so things are gonna be different now.

i am going to be here all the time and annoying the bejeesus outta everyone!!

duncs - well done on the timekeepers exam! and bluegh at the scabby roll..

someone was asking about diet drinks, i have found from experience that viewing it as a kinda treat, and using it as the thing that stops you from eating all the other craap is a useful tool... and it never affected my ketosis...

the water flavours with fizzy water are a good replacement for fizzy's if you're a pop addict like me!!!

    Hi all,

Sorry as i have been guilty of mentioning food :embarasse although i haven't eaten any and am now on day 6! :T It was tough getting through the weekend and not doing/eating the normal things but i did it!

Not being weighed until day 9 (thurs) but so far am showing a 8lb weight loss! Back at work for tomorrow and wednesday but have my tetras for lunch and will try to be discret with them..i won't mind people knowing soon (they'll be no hiding it :D!!)

I'm going to have to clear out a little cupboard in the kitchen for my cd packets as have a months supply being delivered on thursday.

I said to my cdc that i am still not feeling this surge of energy even though i am losing. Shes going to bring a stick for me to pee on, on thursday! Did anyone else not get the well being feeling while being in ketosis?

    Laura

    Hi Laura,
It took me about 10 days to really start feeling energetic, the first week I felt pretty lousy really. After about 2 weeks, I was walking the dog for longer with a spring in my step and really started to feel good.

hey laura... mentioning the fact that you were tempted by the kids chicken nuggets is alright! what i mean was when i was coming in and saying... oooh i've been bad, i had a chinese, i had blah, blah blah blah and 3 glasses of wine.... etc etc...

it wasn't a crack at anyone other than me.

Hoping others agreed but i'm not laying down the law or owt.

You're doing fab... setting yourself up for a great loss.... are you seeing your CDC in your own home?
